This is a replacement straight planing head for the Festool Planer HL 850 E-F-Plus (#61999, sold separately). Use it for most common planing tasks, including smoothing, thicknessing and rabbeting. The head comes complete with a solid carbide blade pre-installed, and cuts are clean thanks to the spiral orientation of the blade. When the time comes, blade changes are fast and easy with just three screws, and there is no need to adjust the blade protrusion. Single-blade planing head.
