I was so happy that replacement parts for my mirror were available since this is an antique piece. They fit just fine and work just as the original pieces did.

Woodworking Experience:
worked great
They worked perfectly. I would have liked to have a matching washer that the screw presses against instead of pressing against the wood itself.

Debra P on Jun 21, 2018
During a move, we lost the screws to hold the mirror. I checked the size and the insert is 1/4 - 20. A 2 1/4" length will work. Do you carry this size and can I order the bolts only?
Larry M on Feb 22, 2016
What are the threads on the long bolt? 1/4-20?
dave l on Apr 23, 2016
I can't get the threaded inserts for my swivel mirror screws to start in my oak mirror frame, what can I do?
randy c on Oct 12, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I used a metal tap first in my oak frame and it worked great.
Do these hold the mirror in a fixed position when adjusted?
Brian W on May 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: the mirrors I did were in a fixed position and were only decorative. If mirror was balanced, I would say yes they would hold.
do you need a spacer between the mirror frame and the upright frame?
Larry S on Aug 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Not necessarily but I would recommend one. In order for the mirror to remain in place, i.e. not easily move back and forth, it needs some friction to hold it in place. A rubber washer or ???? will help with this.
Will this work for a mirror that attached to poles but rear brackets? Do I buy this along w rear mounting hinge???
Nicole G on Jan 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I don't think it will, The threaded insert of this type goes into the side of the mirror frame and the screws will go into the insert. The style you are thinking about is a different approach.
I have an antique dresser with mirror but the mirror is bolted on with wing nuts and I don’t gave any idea what was there to hold it on previously. Would these screws work to hold the mirror in place with the brackets???
Margaret M on Aug 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hi Margaret, I made a dressing table with mirror for granddaughter. the support I fastened to back of table held the mirror and to allow the to pivot I used the swivel bolts. Also it made easy to transport, remove bolts an remove mirror.
My swivel mirror does not stay in place it leans back it doesnt stay upright whan can i do to fix it?
