Great for fine cracks & edges with bark edges
For natural wood art pieces it is great to seal fine cracks and softer wood areas. Where there is bark on some edges that help to give a "nature" effect, the thin glue is great for soaking and glueing the bark to the live edge

Good stuff
I purchased this Titebond instant adhesive in the thin viscosity to harden some Baltic Birch edges in a shop made jig. This adhesive really wicked in deep and never rolled out. I think it will work out well to harden the edge grain and provide a tough surface free of future splintering and reduced wear. Just the right amount.

A great product! I use it for my Intarsia pieces of woodworking and also recommend to students in my classes. Easy to apply, dries quickly and cleans up nicely.

Be ready to bond!
Love the product because it works as advertised. If you have doubts about your glue up, don't use this product. There is no time to adjust.

Excellent adhesive
Was building a large 32" x 64" criss-cross wine rack cabinet. The X's were cut on a 45-degree bevel, and needed to be attached to the cabinet sides. This did the job perfectly. Very strong hold, and made the job of placing the X's easy.

I work bowls with turquoise and I need a cement that will work through the turquoise and bond all of it to the wood. A thicker cement sometimes will not make it all the way through to the wood for a good bond.

Have used this product previously to repair fine furniture. Product works very well...would not consider anything else for repairing chairs.

The chair I need to repair is very old. I do not want to take apart and this wicking glue should re-enforce the joint that's loose.

Can this product be used on cutting boards, is it food safe after curing? Seems like it would be great for tiny gaps in illusion cutting boards for imperfections in cutting and assembly.

BEST ANSWER: I can, however I have fount that Titebond 3 has worked the best for my wooden cutting boards
What is the viscosity, I am looking for approximately 2 cP?
rick h on Mar 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: have no idea what "cP" means. This stuff is as thin as water. It wicks extremely well, but is easy to overdo, suggest getting some capillary tips.
What is the shelf life on this product after opening it, using a small amount, then setting it back on a cabinet shelf ?
Chiseler on May 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I found the product to easily flow for six to eight weeks. Started storing up side down and think it lasted longer.
how do you get rid of any ooze that may get on surrounding wood surfaces???
David F on Apr 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I use this product as a final finish on my pens and therefore have never had this issue. I suggest trying acetone.
