Tasteful and discreet, this slim Toothpick Holder will always be handy on your key ring to give you confidence in your smile - whether you've eaten corn on the cob or poppy seed muffins. Smooth threaded cap is a pleasure to open. An easy project to turn – just drill your turning blank (sold separately), install the tube into the blank and turn it on your lathe to whatever shape you desire.

toothpick/needle case
My wife wanted a couple of needle cases. This has a 2 1/4" length, ok for the needles my wife uses. Very nice hardware, screw top, uses 10mm drillbit as the other reviewer said; my printed instructions said 10mm. I bought the mandrel, bushings, 10mm bit, and a zebrawood 3/4" by 5" pen blank. Turned out well, but I could have used the pen trimmer kit to make fit easier to square up the tube, but a disc sander worked ok. My wife loved it, and my younger daughter saw it and wants a couple of them too.

Fairy decent toothpick holder
This toothpick holder is a fairly nice design. I like the fact that an 'O' ring is included to help keep the cap from coming off inadvertently. However the 'O' ring should be a little larger because it easily falls out of the ring cap. I replaced the two I had with a larger #6 'O' ring (O.D. 7/16", I.D. 5/16" Wall 1/16". This size still seals the cap well and does not fall out.

Bit Instructions Incorrect - Otherwise nice
My printed instructions said 11mm bit..... So that's what i used. Obviously incorrect when attempting to glue the tube. Online it says 10mm . FYI Classic.. Now I have to find a project that will need an 11mm Burled Maple insert... Otherwise its a nice little project that could be used for a small pill container.
