Good product
For the price I expected a very good product. It met my expectations. It cut well, just make sure to feed it slowly to get best results.

Bit cut the great on both. Was expecting a bit of burn on the Cherry but did not get any.

Beaded molding
This bit worked excellent on my rockler router table. I used the fence to guide the piece initially and then used rockler fence shims to make sure no rocking happened in the exiting side. I used poplar to make molding for my wife's walk in closet. It did not matter the feed rate. This bit made a finished look with no gouging!

I need 1/2" shank. What is this bit? Doesn't say in the catalog.
Dorothy S on Jun 19, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Don't know why it does not say in catalog, but the bit I bought was 1/2 inch. Perhaps when you order make sure that you point out that you want the 1/2 shank. Bit does a great job. Michael
can you get 4 beads? I"m trying to match some moulding on an old staircase
Larry S on Mar 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I guess if you were careful in setting up the bit to follow one of the other cuts it might be possible. Myself I have not tried it. You would have to do like I do with other bits, try it out on scraps to see if you could line it up.
Is this bit available with a 1/4" shank
paul b on Mar 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I don't think so... and I am sure I would want to use a bit like this without it being 1/2" shank. I use this bit only in a router table used as a shaper. Often this is a trim feature from 19th century old houses and the beads are cut 1/2" to 1" from the bottom of the board (not right at the bottom of the board)...so there is a lot of cantilever load when you use this this way. Good luck
does this bit come in 1/4" radius flutes?
