These Urethane Bandsaw Tires stretch to fit without glue making installation easy! Available in two widths: 3/4" wide or 7/8" wide for 12" bandsaws. Fits all 12" bandsaws, including Jet, Craftsman, Ridgid and Delta.

Fit like a glove
I clamped the tire with vise grips (a piece of wood between the vise grips and the tire to protect the tire) and it went on pretty smoothly. I was getting worried because people had lots of trouble in their "How To" videos, they used multiple clamps, the tires kept slipping off , but I had no trouble at all and I was back in business cutting wood on my 12" Jet bandsaw.

Great quality, and no slippage
Let's see.
Bandsaw tires: Hard to mount, worth every bit of effort, long life, and safer than rubber. Win win...except for the bruise on my arm (first-time install).

Thanks Rockler!

Band saw tires!
I have an OLD Craftsman band saw, which I love to use. Parts are hard to find, and the blade would slip constantly. After utting these “tires” on, I have yet to have a problem!

I have a Craftsman Band Saw that is about 25 years old. One day the "Tires" just disintegrated. Rockler had the exact replacement tires, in stock and ready to ship. Not as hard to install as you might imagine. Coupled with a tune up AND a new saw blade also from Rockler, She runes better than NEW!

Did the trick
Soaked in warm water before installing made the job easier. Had someone help add clamps while i worked the tires on. I have an old sears bandsaw the old tires had dry rotted and these got it back up and running.

Almost got rid of my bandsaw because it kept throwing the blade off of the wheels. Then I read that it could be the tires. I got these, put them on and . . . what a difference they made.

I use an OLD Craftsman band saw, which is near IMPOSSIBLE to find parts for. I can NOT afford to replace it with a new, up to date, and "well equip"version, so maybe this will help keep it in use.

THE WHEEL TIRES FOR MY JET 12 BANDSAW ARE ONLY 11/16 AND NOT A 3/4 SO WILL YOUR 49047 BE TOO WIDE?
A shopper on Jul 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I think they will be just fine for your JET saw. Make sure to clean the wheels well before installing the tires.
Are these bandsaw tyres suitable for old bandsaw with flat wheels. That is wheel the wheel does not have lip to hold tyres on?
Peter b on May 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes they fit very tightly and assuming they are centered on the wheel, they do not need the shoulders to keep them in place.

Saw is a Jet JWBS-12 & Jet part # is 120005. Will this fit?
Tcubfan on Jan 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I can't answer this question because I'm not familiar with your equipment. My saw is very old I think it is a Rockwell Delter, but the belt fit perfectly. My guess is if it is a 12inch the tire will work. Wish I could be more help.
will this band saw tires fit my jet 131/2 wheel 14 inch?
robert r c on Jul 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: In my experience, the band should be designated to match the diameter of the wheel to have the proper tension. If it's too big, it won't hold and if it's too small, you'll never stretch it over the wheel./
will these fit a Rockwell 28-2co ?
bigpoam on Jul 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I am not familiar with Rockwell 28-2co and could not find a model with this description, but if your upper and lower wheels are 12" in diameter and 1" wide this 12" Urethane Band Saw Tire will fit.
Wolfgang.
