The Urethane Bandsaw Tires stretch to fit without glue making installation easy! Plus, urethane won't suffer from dry rot and because they're not made of the usual rubber, they'll stay flexible longer to increase the performance of your blade. The long-lasting tires improve blade tracking and extends blade life. Their bright orange coloring makes them easy to inspect and they come with a lifetime warranty on the welds. The Urethane Band Saw Tire is 1" wide and may be trimmed to fit.

Completly Satisfied
I've never used a band saw for anything but metal and did not know anything using one to cut wood. I was given an older unused 14" one and was planning on making a cannon frame. I read everything I could about refurbishing it and found a great you tube article which recommended several things to do and parts to replace.Every part was ordered from Rockler, including these bands. With all parts and alignments finished, My wife "Wonderful" and I made our first cut. It was a four foot long 6x6 for the axle support by cutting it length wise then routing the centers out to fit the selected axle. Though I would not be considered anything but a novice band saw user, I give these bands an "A" They helped us make what we were thinking would be a difficult cut. It turned out great.

Band Saw Tires
I have an old Delta 14" band saw that the black rubber tires were loose and not holding the blade on anymore.
After watching some advice on Youtube I bought them and took the wheels off of the saw. I placed a hex head bolt through the bearing with a large washer and clamped in my workbench vice. I put the tires in hot water from the faucet and left them there one a t a time for about 4 minutes once the wheel was clamped in the vice I put the tire on at the 10:00 and 2:00 and clamped the tire to the wheel. I then got 2 large screw drivers and stretched the tire and worked it around the rest of the wheel. One they were on and the wheels put back on the saw WOW it was a big difference. They run quiet and and track perfect !!!

Band Saw Tires
I am very pleased with these tires. The orange material seems to stay cleaner than other types. Less build up of resin and fine sawdust.

What diameter wheel does 14 inch tire fit?
A shopper on Apr 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I put the urethane tires on my 14" Delta band saw. the wheels were 14 " in diameter. They went on very well after I stretched them out a bit before attaching them. Be sure to stretch them as you are attaching them so they will be even. They do fit tight. they track well. I am very happy with them.

Will they fit Laguna 14 12 ?
Kevin S on Jan 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Not sure. They fit my 60 year old Delta 14” perfectly. Best thing to do is measure the diameter of your drive and guide wheel.
Can you tell me how long this is?
Ann W on Dec 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It fits a 14" wheel. Wheels being circular in nature, I assume you are looking for a circumference measurement. That would be 14 X 3.14159 or about 44" give or take two hundredths of an inch. They are somewhat smaller though as they are stretched to snugly fit the wheel. If you are looking for the metric system, they are 111.7cm long or 35.56cm diameter. Remember, Pi is your friend.
I might bandsaw will it says it's a Craftsman 14-inch but it's actually like 13 and 3/4 do I need the 14 answer to 12 in tires?
Larry F on Jun 14, 2018
can i glue tire on? it tracks off wheel,is lose. is a urethane tire.
kenneth p on Aug 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Orville says that you can't glue the tire on, if it isn't tracking then you need to adjust the wheel. There is an place on the face of the wheel to adjust the tracking. I have not had any problem with the urethane tire I bought and if you still continue to have the problem then perhaps you have not bought the correct tire. I did have to warm it up to get it on the wheel but once there you should have no problem. .I hope this has helped
I have a Powermatic PWBS-14CS-AU bandsaw. The specifications say it has a 355mm diameter wheel. Will the 14 inch tyres fit?

BEST ANSWER: 14 inches translated to metric is 35.56cm or 355.6mm. Should fit.

The wheel on my Hilti band saw is 13 1/2 inches across, which tire will fit it? the 12 or 14 inch.
larry j on May 27, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the 14" will work fine. They're several inches smaller before placing in hot water and stretching, so they'll work fine on the 13 1/2" wheel.
Is this sized to fit a powermatic 141?
Todd F on May 6, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I have an old 14" Powermatic (@1960s workhorse) and the tires worked fine. There is quite a bit of stretch so I would imagine they will work.
what size band saw tires do I need for a 12 inch Craftsman band saw?
August L on Jan 7, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I don't Know
How thick are these tires?
David S on Jan 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: David, I had to return them, they wouldn’t fit my craftsman band saw, had to buy replacement tires from Sears.
These were much better quality, but wouldn’t fit. Make sure you take them with you for a proper fit.
How long should these tires last? I bought a set 5 yrs ago and have used the saw only a few times, it is one of three and not my favorite, the tires have become hard as granite and broken up and fell off of the wheels. I know that I have seen rubber tires last for much longer on band saws that were used much more than this one. Any comments?
Les S on May 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I don't have a good answer. I bought a used Delta in 2000. I don't recall if the rubber tires broke or were slipping when I tuned up the saw. I replaced the rubber tires with urethane because they were easier to install and I didn't want to deal with cleaning glue off the wheels again. In 2006 I moved from Chicago to central Florida. I also didn't use the saw much. In 2016 the tires broke in pieces. I thought it was because of the temperature because heels fall off of shoes and flexible materials seem to fail down here. So, no answer other than I had the same problem. I believe the original rubber tires were on the saw at least 10yrs, maybe more, but in a different environment.
