Urethane Band Saw Tires - Fits 14'' Bandsaw
The Urethane Bandsaw Tires stretch to fit without glue making installation easy! Plus, urethane won't suffer from dry rot and because they're not made of the usual rubber, they'll stay flexible longer to increase the performance of your blade. The long-lasting tires improve blade tracking and extends blade life. Their bright orange coloring makes them easy to inspect and they come with a lifetime warranty on the welds. The Urethane Band Saw Tire is 1" wide and may be trimmed to fit.

Urethane band saw tire
Urethane tire fit an old Jet bandsaw perfectly. I removed the wheels for the installation but that probably would not have been neccessary as the tires were easy to install using a few spring clamps and tire iron. Removing the wheels did make cleaning them easier.

Perfect fit
Easier to install than I had imagined; following directions made it quick and painless. Fit my 14” Delta perfectly (unlike the Carter which was 7/8” wide; I needed the full 1” width). Great service as usual from Rockler.

New tires for Delta 14 in bandsaw
The original upper rubber tire worked off wheel. Rather than try re-gluing the old tire, I decided to replace both tires, and urethane without need for glue seemed the best bet.

The belt stretched well and went on by holding the wheel in the vise and stretching the tire and using a round tool to assist. This tire also allows marking the center of the tire in order to utilize that mark in order to mount the blade with the gullet in the center of the wheel (see Alex Snodgrass videos).

This has given me perfect alignment of the blade for making bandsaw boxes, resawing, and cutting circular bowl turning blanks.

I recommend this tire, especially for the contrast of the mark of the center of the tire.

Does it fit Powermatic 14" band saw (model PWBS-14)?
Amos W on Feb 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Have a deta 14 inch band saw and it worked fine. If you have a 14" wheel it will fit.
What is the width of these 14" Poly tires?

BEST ANSWER: The Urethane Band Saw Tire is 1" wide and may be trimmed to fit.

BEST ANSWER: If it is a 14" bandsaw, then these can be used.
Does this tire fit an Astro machine 14 inch wood cutting band saw? The wheel is really 13.5 inches across.
Marvin W on Jan 25, 2018
What diameter wheel does 14 inch tire fit?
A shopper on Apr 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I put the urethane tires on my 14" Delta band saw. the wheels were 14 " in diameter. They went on very well after I stretched them out a bit before attaching them. Be sure to stretch them as you are attaching them so they will be even. They do fit tight. they track well. I am very happy with them.
Will they fit a 14 inch Craftsman band saw?
UMAAF on Aug 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Absolutely I have changed three of these tires without taking the wheels off of the band saw and have found the suggestions included, very helpful.
Can you tell me how long this is?
Ann W on Dec 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It fits a 14" wheel. Wheels being circular in nature, I assume you are looking for a circumference measurement. That would be 14 X 3.14159 or about 44" give or take two hundredths of an inch. They are somewhat smaller though as they are stretched to snugly fit the wheel. If you are looking for the metric system, they are 111.7cm long or 35.56cm diameter. Remember, Pi is your friend.
I might bandsaw will it says it's a Craftsman 14-inch but it's actually like 13 and 3/4 do I need the 14 answer to 12 in tires?
Larry F on Jun 14, 2018
can i glue tire on? it tracks off wheel,is lose. is a urethane tire.
kenneth p on Aug 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Orville says that you can't glue the tire on, if it isn't tracking then you need to adjust the wheel. There is an place on the face of the wheel to adjust the tracking. I have not had any problem with the urethane tire I bought and if you still continue to have the problem then perhaps you have not bought the correct tire. I did have to warm it up to get it on the wheel but once there you should have no problem. .I hope this has helped
I have a Powermatic PWBS-14CS-AU bandsaw. The specifications say it has a 355mm diameter wheel. Will the 14 inch tyres fit?
Lozza on May 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: 14 inches translated to metric is 35.56cm or 355.6mm. Should fit.
will these fit a Rockwell model 28-2co ?
bigpoam on Jul 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I’m not sure about the mod. number. My band saw was purchased new in the late 80’s, early 90’s and these replacement tires fit fine and work for me. Hope that helps you.

Two Bears on Apr 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I don't have the packaging but if I had to guess, overseas somewhere.
Will these tires fit on wheels 18" diameter?
Jim C on Aug 27, 2017

The wheel on my Hilti band saw is 13 1/2 inches across, which tire will fit it? the 12 or 14 inch.
larry j on May 27, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the 14" will work fine. They're several inches smaller before placing in hot water and stretching, so they'll work fine on the 13 1/2" wheel.
what size band saw tires do I need for a 12 inch Craftsman band saw?
August L on Jan 7, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I don't Know
How thick are these tires?
David S on Jan 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: David, I had to return them, they wouldn’t fit my craftsman band saw, had to buy replacement tires from Sears.
These were much better quality, but wouldn’t fit. Make sure you take them with you for a proper fit.
Bill
How long should these tires last? I bought a set 5 yrs ago and have used the saw only a few times, it is one of three and not my favorite, the tires have become hard as granite and broken up and fell off of the wheels. I know that I have seen rubber tires last for much longer on band saws that were used much more than this one. Any comments?
Les S on May 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I don't have a good answer. I bought a used Delta in 2000. I don't recall if the rubber tires broke or were slipping when I tuned up the saw. I replaced the rubber tires with urethane because they were easier to install and I didn't want to deal with cleaning glue off the wheels again. In 2006 I moved from Chicago to central Florida. I also didn't use the saw much. In 2016 the tires broke in pieces. I thought it was because of the temperature because heels fall off of shoes and flexible materials seem to fail down here. So, no answer other than I had the same problem. I believe the original rubber tires were on the saw at least 10yrs, maybe more, but in a different environment.
Will they fit Laguna 14 12 ?
