Zerust® No Rust Table Saw Cover

Cover emits a corrosion-inhibiting vapor that protects your table saw from rust for up to five years!
Item #
80% of 100

If exposed to the open air for long periods of time, the cast iron surfaces of your table saw will inevitably begin to rust. Not with the Zerust Table Saw Cover, however. Once installed, this proprietary cover emits non-toxic vapor corrosion inhibitors (VCIs) that surround your table saw to prevent rust, corrosion and electrochemical reactions. Of course, it also helps to shield your equipment from airborne moisture, dust and abrasions. The rust and corrosion inhibitors will remain active for 5 years after the date of purchase.

  • Remains effective for five years
  • Cleaner and more convenient than oil
  • Also great for other power tools such as lathes, jointers, planers and more

Zerust Table Saw Cover Works Well!
The Zerust No Rust Table Saw Cover works exactly as it is advertised to do. My south Texas garage is unconditioned and rust is a problem for any ferrous metal that isn't either covered in oil or wiped down and put in a cabinet. My table saw got covered in rust spots last summer and I decided to do something about it. After searching the internet through the various products out there, I settled on the Zerust. I cleaned the saw top and put the cover on the same day that it arrived. I have been completely rust free since then.

After each use, I get up all dust with my collector, give the top a quick wipe down with my oiled rag, and pop back on the Zerust cover - the whole process takes about 2 minutes. I haven't had the cover for a very long time, however, the weather is currently in the worst time of year for my rust problems. I expect the performance to continue on through the rest of the warm months when rust is an issue, as there have been ZERO signs of new rust.

I would recommend this cover for shops in almost any condition - you people with your power tools sitting out in the weather don't count. For everyone else (especially in less humid areas), this cover will work.

    Works in the humid south
I was surprised this works as well as it does. I live along the gulf coast where it is humid most of the year. While It helps to combat rust, I still have to keep multiple coats of wax on my table saw,

    Anti- Rust Table Saw Cover
I gave this a five star rating although I haven't even taken it out of the package yet. I trust Rockler's comments about the product. With other things going on and my table saw being used as a catch-all table until I find time to put things up I just haven't had time to use the product.

I’ve had the cover on my saw for about 6 months. It has done the job keeping rust off the table top. I wish I had bought it sooner. Deffinetly a good investment.

    It works.
I originally bought one for my Bosch contractors table saw that I keep under a tarp all year (I live in southern Arizona). I think I've had that about 5 years - ABSOLUTELY NO RUST. I then bought one for my DeWalt 735W planer. Actually I bout it for the table saw and gave the original one to my planer. No rust in or on either the table saw and or the planer. I just now bought a third one; this one I'm going to cut in half - half for my miter saw and the other half for my antique table saw / jointer / drill press. It's been raining so I haven't had a chance to put in on the two machines. But so far, I love 'em!!!

Just purchased new saw stop saw and this looked like a decent cover for a fair price. We'll see if it lives up to my expectations when I receive it. If it is the same quality as other products that I have purchased from Rockler ,Im sure it will exceed my expectations as usual.

My workshop is in a converted garage and cast iron tool surfaces can begin rust if left unused on high humidity days for even a short period of time. If this works as advertised this could really help inhibit rust on my table saw surface.

I have a contractor SawStop with the 36in T-GLIDE set up. Will this fit? The overall length is 68in but wondering if there is any stretching or play in the fabric?
    JR N on Sep 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: There is no stretch in the fabric. I use it on a 60 inch long setup and there's a lot of looseness as the bag is quite a bit more front to back than I need. Playing with it just now, it could cover a 68 inch long setup if you don't mind a little bagging on the top by allowing the front-to-back seam to be inboard of the rails end. As the sewn depth is about 18 inches, there is still good coverage of the all-important bare steel top and the drawstring would still work.
How did you get it to fit with a 52" fence? I have a Powermatic PM1000 Table Saw with 52 in. Accu-Fence System and it is well short if fitting.
    Rob B on Dec 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I ordered this cover for a Delta 5100, all cast iron, table saw. The saw has a MLCS router tabletop extension which makes the total size of the top 66 ½ “X 32”. There is still about 4 inches in each direction, so it fits a little loose. There is room for the fence to fit under the cover though I remove the fence before putting the cover on. This is to prevent any sharp points from ripping the cover and also allows the saw to be rolled closer to the wall.
Will this cover my professional saw stop table saw?
    Ron P on Dec 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I bought this from Rockler during December to use on my Powermatic 10" saw with the 50" fence, the same one shown in the picture on Rockler's site. It does not fit my saw!
Is the outer layer water proof? I'm unfortunate enough to have a roof leak in the shop that falls on the corner of my saw..
    Cody G on Dec 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: My saw is in an enclosed area so it does not get any water on it. I did put a little water on the cover and it seems to hold it without soaking in. I do like the cover and would recommend it.
