Zona Fine Tooth Razor Saw

Ultra-thin blade cuts quickly and leaves an exceptionally smooth cut—great for everything from model-making to cutting dovetails.

Zona's Fine Tooth Razor Hand Saw is an excellent, affordable general-purpose saw that's capable of cutting dovetails, trimming tenons, defining hinge mortises, making models and a wide variety of other tasks. Due to its ultra-thin kerf, it cuts very easily, and leaves an exceptionally smooth edge. The stiff steel backer helps to stabilize the thin blade, and the saw also cuts on the pull stroke so the blade won't buckle under pressure. The saw is also useful for mitering small moldings. Made in USA.

Features:

  • Fine Kerf Universal Razor saws are great all-purpose saws for modeling and woodworking
  • Leaves a smooth finish on wood, plastic, copper and brass
  • Cuts on the pull stroke, keeping the blade in tension to prevent buckling and bending
  • Features a comfortable, durable hardwood handle

Handy Little Saw
I bought this handy little saw several weeks ago and fell in love with it. I went back and picked up three more for future projects. This saw works perfectly when cutting off dowel plugs and is very sharp. The saw blade is still sharp and has lots of life in it. I recommend this saw to any carpenter or household handy. My next purchase will be the next size up.

I frequently use dowels. I currently use a back saw to trim them off, but this fine tooth razor saw will do a better job with less sanding required afterwards.
