Rockler 22.5° Chamfer Router Bit - 1-1/8" Dia x 7/8" H x 1/2" Shank

The perfect bevel angle for eight-sided objects and 45° angles in cabinetry and furniture.

The 22.5° bevel bit is very useful in cabinetmaking for joining face frames that form a 45° angle, such as for corner cabinets and sink bump-outs. You can also use it to chamfer the edge joints for multi-sided objects. It's perfectly suited for octagonal barrels or columns, and you can also use it to build segmented turning blanks.

Great item
Great item. Worked very well. I realized after starting my project I had ordered the wrong angle. Will definitely be purchasing the correct one through Rockler.

This is an excellent bit for...
This is an excellent bit for the money especially with the 1/2" shank. I chose this bit over other similar ones because of the 1" length of cut that I needed to mill flats on 4x4 posts for constructing a gazebo.

This is a really good value....
This is a really good value. It cuts wood as if were butter and 15mm Phenyl resin panels with ease. It is a long lasting bit even for industrial use. Make sure the bearing screw is tight before each use.

I chose this 22.5 chamfer bit for the angle. I'm using it to make a supplemental crown piece out of 1x4 for my dining room ceiling. I could have used a table saw but I wouldn't have achieved a clean cut.
