Brass Ferrules
Brass Ferrules

Brass plated ferrules are a great way to finish off your hardwood candle cups. They measure 1/2" high and have an overall diameter of 1-3/16" with an inside diameter of 7/8". These ferrules work specifically with our birch (#21535, sold separately) and Oak (#21543, sold separately) hardwood candle cups.

My first order from Rockler.
I looked all over locally to find some Brass Ferrules. Couldn't find in our hobby stores or anywhere, so got on the computer and sure enough Rockler had them. I ordered 12 and had them in just a couple of days.
They were very well made and fit my Candle Holders perfectly. I will be ordering more because I intend to make more and give as gifts. Thanks Rockler for coming to my rescue.

A great way to finish a project
The brass ferules were the ideal way to finish off a set of candle sticks that were built for a friends dining room table.

These are pretty much as advertised. They could be a bit thicker metal, but they are OK.

They are ok, but a shame they don't come different sizes
These only fit 7/8" base candles, which are large.

I purchased 10 of these while on vacation in MN at a hardware store by Ridgedale in Minnetonka. I needed two more when I got home.

I am putting them on an existing drilled piece for church that was done at least 40 years ago - not done properly but with these added ferrule the candles now stand straight - YEA

Very happy with the 10 I purchased - good quality.

Are these cups or rings?
Teri H on Apr 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: They really are rings which means that when the candle burns down the flame goes to the wood (or other material) underneath. If it’s wood, that will ruin your candlestick. Don’t ask me how I know this.
What are the dimensions of this ferrule?
