Item #
GRP2123_2
Rating:
100% of 100
All of our dovetail bits are specially designed with high radial and axial relief angles to give you extra clean, sharp edges. You'll find many applications for these bits. Make creative, decorative glue joints for drawers and jewelry boxes, shaker furniture and shadow boxes, sliding dovetail joints for table and leg extensions, or sliding drawer and shelf runners and dividers. Smaller degree bits can be used for stair tread stringer mortising or shelf supports. Larger diameter bits can produce unique finger pulls.

Really nice
When my no-name brand ebay dovetail bit broke off at the shaft halfway through a sliding dovetail cut (only its 3rd one!) I hightailed it to Rocker and got this unit which is superior in just about every way (and has subsequently made many cuts without complaint!). The only thing I which it had would be a hard case like the Freud units...

Good router bit for dovetails
I bought a wooden dovetail drawer slide to serve as a slip joint for a different project but found that there was too much play in the joint. I bought this bit to make my own dovetail slide. I was very happy with the result.
