Works as advertised
Used these to retrofit an old dresser that has slideless drawers. Easy to install, and works as described.

It's possible that the plastic hinge will wear out after many drawer insertions and removals, but given that those are relatively rare events, I doubt it will be an issue.

Easy to install, screws included. Instructions were on website, would have been nice to include in the package, but not an impediment.

Can this stop be used on center bottom mount drawer glides (wood)?
Paul A on Mar 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: These stops go on the inside top edge of the back of the drawer and not on the drawer glide. Please see my detailed answer to "Daycare Grammie's" question.
How many come in a pack?

" These stops go on the inside top edge of the back of the drawer and not on the drawer glide". this was an answer by James Y. I am wondering if there is a picture because I cannot envision 'top edge of the back of the drawer' doing anything to stop drawer from falling out.?I have never used these before. Thank you
Donna H on Mar 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Top of stop extends above top edge of drawer.
is this drawer stop spring-loaded? Made of metal? Is it hinged? What keeps it upright?
Peter H on Dec 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It is made out of plastic. No springs, no hinges. It just stays upright by design, unless you want the drawer to come out. Then you pull on the small plastic tab and make the tab bend a little allowing the drawer to slide out. It works very well as long as the hight of the drawer back plus top part of this stop is larger than the opening for the drawer. Sometimes I had to use 3 stops in the back of the drawer if it is the old wide dresser.
Are the screws included?
Karlene S on Jul 6, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I'm sorry, I don't remember. We were replacing a broken drawer stop for my Mother, and reused the screws from the broken one.
Do these still allow drawer to be opened to get contents out while keeping drawer still on glider?
Daycare Grammie on Jan 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: These drawer stops attach to the back of the drawer and allow the drawer to be pulled out until the part of the stop that sticks above the back inside edge of the drawer hits the framing of the dresser/chest or whatever cabinet the drawer slides in and out of. The stop can also be squeezed allowing the drawer to still be completely removed when necessary. These stops do require that cabinets have a 'lip' that the stop sticking above the drawer can hit and there cannot be too much space between the top of the back of the drawer and the lip of the cabinet. You can try attaching a piece of cardboard to the inside back of your drawer sticking about an inch above it and see if it will hit on the cabinet before the drawer is pulled all the way out. If it does then these should work great.
Drawers are 34" wide x 8" high x 16" deep. How many do I need for each drawer?
Pat W on Jan 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: One, centered in the back of the drawer, should be sufficient. However, for a drawer this wide, two stops, properly installed and centered about 10 to 12 inches apart, would be better.

Donna H on Mar 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It is mounted with the screws on the top of the inside back edge of the drawer. The top of the stop then hits the inside of the drawer frame at the front of the cabinet. The tab allows you to bend the stop down to fully remove the drawer.
