Don't buy these without extra clamps

As previously stated, the rubber end falls off under the weight of the hose. Don't buy these without also buying additional 3" hose clamps.
For the Bosch 4100, you have to get:
Dust Right® 2-1/2'' Rubber Union for Dust Collection
Item #: 45384
4" to 2-1/4" Hose Reducer (OD)
Item #: 23486
Dust Right® 4'' Tool Ports
Item #: 25516
Or you could try a 2 1/2" Hose splice and the 2nd clamp method that Terry P from Nothern Michigan mentioned.

The quick release tool ports are made of two parts a flexible rubber boot and a rigid plastic port, they come apart too easily under the weight of the very heavy expandable hose combined with a dust collectors suction. The hose clamp keeps the boot on your machine and the rest falls off. /p>

The Dust Right 2-1/2" Tool Port Mounts well to various 2-1/2" Tools and 4" Dust Right Handle to the 4" port! but, don't expect to support a horizontal hose connect. The 4" plastic transition pulls out of the rubber boot. Add another clamp, and you loose a swivel connection./p>

The adapter does exactly what it is expected to do - adapts from a standard male 2 1/2" dust port to a size which fits the Dust Right® Handle. The unit comes with a ring clamp to attach the flexible 2 1/2" end around the 2 1/2" OD port on your tool. The adapter is designed in such a way that a flange on the plastic Dust Right® seats in a groove in the flexible couple end. However, as others have reported, the fit between this flange and the flexible coupler is not tight enough to support the weight or pull of the Dust Right® hose, and it will keep coming apart. As such, you will have to purchase a second ring clamp to tighten around this interface between the hard plastic and the flexible coupling to stop the whole thing from coming apart in use. Once the second ring clamp is added, it works flawlessly.

The product itself is fine, but why doesn't Rockler sell the 4" version without requiring purchasing an entire kit? Until I can afford to add a built-in ductwork for my dust collection system, I will continue to use the Dust Right system, but the value provided by these products is somewhat disappointing.Editor's note: The 4" version of this is available by itself as item # 25516.
