Dust Right® 4'' Tool Ports

Easily move dust collection from tool to tool. (2 Pack)
Item #
25516
Rating:
92% of 100

One end connects tightly to any tool with a 4" dust port, while the other fits perfectly into theDust Right® Handle (which connects to 4" hose and, ultimately, your dust collector), allowing you to move dust collection from tool to tool like never before! The Ports feature a flexible rubber boot on one side that guarantees a tight connection and allows for slight variations in the size of the tool's dust port. Includes two ports and two metal hose clamps. The Dust Right® Tool Ports are designed to work with the Dust Right® handle, which is available either individually or in one of our Dust Right® Packages (sold separately). To connect the handle to smaller 2-1/2" ports, use a Tool Port in conjunction with our Hose Adapter (#20871, sold separately).

A must for mobile shop setup
Love these and have one on every tool in my shop that is mobile. I just use my flexible hose with the connector handle to pop on and off for dust collection.

Very helpful
These tool ports are a great way to make the 4" port on most woodworking machines be a perfect match for the rest of the Rockler Dust Right system. Once you fasten these on the port of your stationary tool, it creates a perfect match for the Dust Right Quick Change Handle. I've attached these tool ports to my table saw, jointer, planer, router and bandsaw. It makes it very easy to then just move my dust hose from machine to machine without any tools.

Fitting my dust shop vac for dust collection
It allowed me to hook up my shop vac to the 4" dust port on my new 8" joiner. I will come back to set up my dust collection when my shop is up and running. The help and information I received while there was excellent.

Why did you choose this?
Rockler Store
These connectors work really nicely with the blue dust right hose. One hose set up with 8 tools with these fittings in my shop makes moving the hose around a breeze.

I bought the hose and handle combination. Did not realize you need an adapter to quick connect to a standard 4" port on my tools.
Eric A S on May 2, 2020
Because your Dust Right 4" tool does not fit a STANDARD 4" vacuum port
Tim B on Apr 30, 2020
Unfortunately, Rockler chose to redefine what a 4" opening is by making their quick change handle too large to fit normal 4" attachments. Thus I had to buy multiple additional Dust Right ports because the Dust Right handle won't fit the existing ports on my table saw, router, and planer.
Ross R on Apr 29, 2020

Can I just buy one of these, I don't need 2?
bob k on Jul 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I need just one, too. The packaging is aggravating. Most everything else is sold "one at a time."

I'm done buying all my major tools for a long time to follow - don't need an extra port adapter laying around in a box I'll forget about. Instead of buying two more ports, I'll just transfer a port from whichever one of four other port locations I don't think I'll be using for a given project.
Am I understanding this products dimensions? Answers state the "Rubber End is 4 1/8 ID" So does this Rubber End fit over/around the standard 4 inch OUT exhaust port on my Powermatic Table Saw & Jointer ? And other "plastic End is 3 15/16 ID which fits into the quick connect Dust Right Handle? & the other end of the Dust Right Handle will fit into the standard 4 inch vacuum hose? I wish to confirm which is the correct accessory I need to permanently install on the 4 inch exhaust port of my Powermatic tools? So I can easily move & connect & the Dust right handle between tools with use.. Thank you.
Albert M on Feb 24, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes it should.
will this fit the 4" reducer fittings?
DOUG S on Dec 4, 2019
what is the ID's on both sided please ?
jeff s on May 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Plastic end is 3-15/16”. Rubber end (uncompressed) is 4-1/8”.
What is the length of port? Want to know so they don’t stick too far out of my work bench.
Happy customer on Feb 26, 2020
BEST ANSWER: only about 3-4 inches...but I will check later and measure.
Have trouble keeping the hose in this? Me too and I have tried everything short of putting bolts through it and the hose to hold that hose in place. And yes, it is the Rockler hose designed for it. Any suggestions would be appreciated, funny and otherwise.
Paul T on May 19, 2020
BEST ANSWER: The tool port is not designed to have hose directly attached to it. The "boot" end with the clamp is to attach to a rigid 4 inch port on a tool such as a table saw, band saw, etc. The other end mates with the dust right 4" quick change handle. The handle has the hose clamped to it.
Does the 4"tool port connect to the handled quick disconnect and a 37/8" outside diameter elbow port?
Woody on Jan 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes
