The 2-1/2'' diameter hose in this kit is made of an amazingly elastic, flexible polymer that stretches from approximately 2' to 12' in length. This allows you to reach most areas of your shop, without the hassle of a long, cumbersome hose. As you move closer to your shop vacuum, it retracts to take up excess slack, which helps prevent tangling and tripping. Thanks to the flexibility of the hose, coupled with the included swivel connectors, it won't kink or bind. The hose weighs 30% less than previous versions, and is offered in a blue translucent color. With the two included swivel fittings, it easily connects to your shop vacuum, optional Dust Right® accessories and many dust ports. Each swivel fitting has a larger end (2-1/2'' OD), which fits into the hose, and a smaller end (2-1/4'' OD), which fits into a standard ''Shop Vac.'' Two metal hose clamps are also included for securing the fittings to the hose.

Cold Weather Tip: Cold temperatures will cause the hose to contract. If you find the hose is too tight or stiff, try warming the hose/workshop.
