Dust Right 4” Swivel
I have a Delta dust collection system I use for all my large power tools. It has a 4inch hose that I connect from tool to tool as I’m working a project (woodworking). Without the swivel connector, the hose could not twist or turn making it a struggle to make any connection to my tools. Now it’s a breeze to connect and reconnect without wrestling with the hose. I have the swivel connector attached to the end of my hose and connected to the Dust Right handle, works great, highly recommend if having trouble with twisting or turning of a hose.

Uses this on the CNC
Use this on the CNC router parts dust shoe. Works neatly with the swivel as the table is 4' x 8' and needs to all over the table.

The swivel works great
I attached the swivel to my miter saw and it now rotates when I change the angle. Exactly what I wanted.

Slick!
I have my dust collector in a closet and the main connection is to the system of pipes under the concrete floor (I just completed a 20 by 20 addition to my shop) with ports at each major machine. But I wanted to be able to collect the dust that escapes the main system, so I put a Y in the closet with it attached to a 4 inch pipe through the wall and put the swivel on the shop side of the wall with a 3 ft expandable (goes to 21 ft) hose attached to the swivel. It works great: I can go anywhere in my shop with the handle and floor attachment and vacuum up the sawdust. Rockler's Dust Right system is great!

Just what I needed. Keeps hose from binding up works flawlessly so good in fact that I'm ordering another one tomorrow. Great job Rockler!

It's an excellent product and joins...
It's an excellent product and joins the family of dust collection accessories that Rockler is organizing. We all know the battle of finding and then fitting the right accessory or adaptor to our existing inventory of hoses. It's not a surprise that Rockler has jumped to the forefront of this issue also, and in doing so, have exceeded my expectations? The swivel is ideal for solving the mobility issue of moving cust collection hose from tool to tool or around the shop! without the usual twists. But, it's just the beginning of their product line. I've fot to give them a 10 on the entire venue of dust collection. Finally, someone has developed a plan and, then, products to back it up.

I frequently use the drop down hose at my table saw for a couple different applications where the hose twists and moves, and it frequently falls down because of that.

This swivel fits the blast gate and also three-inch PVC fittings. I may have been able to get what I needed from you but your web site does not tell me which items will fit properly with others. I have had to experiment with plumbing supplies from Home Depot to finally figure out how to "plumb" my dust collection system.

Does anybody have any clue how to ground the dust system upwind of this swivel connector? I have it hooked to the 4 ft expandable dust right hose and the hose is constantly shocking me when in use (particularly with the planar because of the volume of wood chips creating static electricity). It should be noted that the rest of my dust collection system is grounded and I have never gotten a shock off of the piping.

BEST ANSWER: I would try a jumper wire from the wire in the hose to your metal duct.
Will this connect between a quick change handle and a 4" hose?
Rick L on Nov 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes the quick change handle will connect to the 4”hose
One end obviously fits a 4" hose. What is the Inside diameter of the other end?
Rick L on Nov 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: One end is 4" OD (nominal) to connect to 4" ID dust hose. The other end is a 4" ID (nominal) rubber boot to connect to a 4" OD dust port or fitting.
Will this connect between a quick change handle and a 4" hose?
Rick L on Nov 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You can attach the the quick change handle to the opposite end of where the 4" hose attaches. You would have to tighten the clamp though otherwise the handle will not stay on.
question for Rockler: I purchased a right angle swivel several years ago for the base of my table saw. Why don't you have one now?
