Due to slight variances in dust hose attachments it may be necessary to add a piece of masking tape around the outer diameter of the input hose for a snug fit.

It's hard to focus on your work with that tangle of cords and hoses always demanding your attention. If you're not untangling them, you're tripping over them, stepping on them or slinging them over your shoulders to get them out of your way. That's why Rockler has introduced the new Cord and Hose Holder - a handy adjustable post that clears the clutter by suspending both the power cord and the dust hose safely out of the way. Cord holder and hose holder are independently height-adjustable to eliminate tangling, and to provide the perfect working height. Clamps easily onto any work surface up to 3-1/4" thick. Use our Dust Right® Expandable Hose (#58342 sold separately) for the dust connection to your power tool. A separate hose leads from the hose holder to your shop vacuum or dust collection system.

Features:
  • Cord and hose manager is ideal for sanders and routers, and also works with pneumatic hoses for nailers and pneumatic sanders
  • All connections and adjustments are tool-free

Simple and effective
In the past I have used any number of contraptions to help manage the tangled mess that usually happens with cords and dust collection hoses. None have worked as easily as this. The device is stout and made up of what seems to be good quality materials. The footprint is small so you can leave it on your bench without much of an issue. My bench backs to a wall so its a simple thing to adjust the position as needed and push it to the back when I don't need it. This holder is one of those items you never thought you needed until you finally buy one. I am sure I am not the only person asking why I waited so long.

Dust Right Cord Holder
This is by far an exceptional piece of ingenuity, at least for when I'm ironing. I use everything you see in the picture except the center piece that holds the Hose. Sturdy beyond anything you can imagine. I LOVE this contraption for my iron. It keeps the cord completely out of my way while I'm working. It doesn't snag the cord, and the pole is SOLID, no bending. It stays in place underneath the ironing board by applying a piece of wood for extra sturdiness. It's FANTASTIC! Whoever invented it, THANK YOU! And thank you Rockler for selling it! Janine

Good, steady holder
This cord and hose holder is very sturdy. Even more aggressive movements doesn't phase it. Great Job to the manufacturer.

Can I replace the 2 1/2 inch adapter with a 4" adapter and use with my dust collector and 4" hose on both sides?
Jim V on Jan 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The only real way I see that working is if you kept the 2-1/2 adapter in place and just added a 2-1/2 to 4" on each side---

----- The semi-circle arm that holds it in place is designed to work with the 2-1/2" adapter and nothing really larger.... When you put the adapter in and tighten the hose clamp, it stretches out the arm a little to fit it nice and snug so there isnt much room for anything bigger. I would take a look at Item #: 28872. I think it would work if you used two of these on each end.
What is the maximum thickness workbench that this can clamp on to? My workbench is almost 3" thick. Will it fit?
Jeremiah Y on Jun 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Just went and checked, and with the screw all the way up, looks like you can put it on up to 3 1/4 inch thick bench. My Sjoberg bench is 2 3/4 thick at the edge, and there is still plenty of adjustability for thicker benches.
What size is the adapter port that affixes to the pole?
asianlink37 on Mar 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The adaptor appears to be standard 2-1/2" dust fitting as the small port hose fits perfectly. The other end works well with the 2-1/2" hose connector from my chip collection canister. All Rockler parts.
Is the cord and hose holder designed to be used with 2 1/2" or 4" dust collection hoses?
Randy R on Jan 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It is for a 2 1/2" hose.
How large is the bench clamp ( #9 ) at the top (width) and diameter of the button of the screw clamp? I would like to use it with my miter saw, besides on a bench. Could some one please measure it for me and post it here? Thank you
Diapointed on Jan 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Top: close to 2 1/2" wide and goes back from the bench edge the same. The diameter of the clamping bottom is a proud 1 3/8ths
