Oak Face Grain Plugs
I'm very new to wood working and took on an oak dremel cabinet for my first hard wood project. These plugs really hid the screw holes well, sanded smooth, blended into the face grain better then I expected, and stained with polycrylic came out very nice. Can you tell its a plug? Yes, if you know where to look.

Perfect Fit
Very reasonably priced grain plugs that were a perfect fit. The quality is outstanding. Used them covering counter sunk screws on side rail slat holders and the top trim pieces on the foot and headboards.

A great purchase for a beautiful finish.

good product
I used these plugs to cover screw holes in a room that I had lined with sheets of Siberian birch ply. My plug cutter was metric, and so the holes were 10mm wide, and generally these plugs worked very well. Because of their taper, I was able to reduce their thickness on a belt sander if they felt too loose in the holes. About half matched the lightness of the birch in the ply perfectly, and the remainder were darker, so I used these for the less exposed parts of the room. Overall, this product saved me hours of labor. The number of duds in the packs was impressively low. I would happily endorse them.

I also received mixed end and face grain packages, someone mixed the products, they were replaced with the correct product No Charge. I purchased three additional packages to allow selecting the grain and color to match the wood where used, excellent quality product.

These plugs worked as expected. The project use quarter sawn white oak and I assume the plugs were red oak. If I do another project like this I will try cutting my own plugs to attempt to get color and grain closer.

The only problem I have with them is that they are not uniform in size . But other then that . They are great . I just wish that they were more uniform in size

I received 2 packages of 3/8 oak facegrain plugs. I opened them to use to cover screw holes on custom steps. I found 60% to be end grain and not useable in this project. Both packages were this way. I contacted customer service, and they were very willingto either issue me a credit or refund. I willuse them on another project anyway. They checked with the closest store about 120 miles away and they had 3 in stock. I picked them up and found they were all facegrain. By the way the clerk in the store was a young woman that was very knowlegable and understood my issue. Thanks for a great company.

I did not know at the time, however these our the best plugs that I have ever purchased from anywhere. They have an excellent "grain" pattern to match-up the wood. Just take your time and look for the right one and it will disappear.

I bought these to fill in holes after screwing down some loose stair treads for a customer. They worked out great.
Quick tip. use some double sided tape on a board and then stick the plugs onto the tape, use spray polyurethane to finish and seal.
