Wax wood polsh
I used this product as part of a reconditioning of a piano bench and was very pleased with the results, as were the owners of the bench for whom I did the work.

Love it!!
We use tung oil as the finish on all our furniture. This is great as a polish and conditioner to use every 6 months on these pieces. If used right it brings out the sheen and does a beautiful job. We have built all our furniture out of cherry, walnut and pecan so we love the look without a varnish finish.

brought back to life
We were able to bring the baseboards and crown molding in a bedroom we were refurbishing back to life without having to sand and re-stain. They turned out great!

Excellent product at a decent price. Goes a long way too!
I have used the Feed-N-Wax wood polish extensively and must say that I think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread, duct tape and American made zip ties! I handcrafted all the trim in our home using Brazillian Cherry wood throughout.... The Feed-N-Wax after being applied gave this beautiful wood almost a bottomless depth to it, STUNNING!!! Here's the catch.... If you plan on painting walls at any time, better be good at cutting in around the trim.... Painters tape doesn't play nice with Feed-N-Wax. It doesn't stick to it! (Only complaint)

is this product food grade. Thinking of putting it on a new wood cutting board?
Lynn Y on Jul 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: After reading the safety data sheet and putting 2 and 2 together - meaning that Howard has never recommended this product for use as a cutting board treatment - I'd say that it should not be used for this purpose. You know that if it was good we would have been given that information readily. Use any recommended butcher block oil.
Can you use it over lacquer finish?
Arlene N on Dec 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I do not see why not.....if it can go over water base finishes then lacquer shouldn't be a problem.
I would not hesitate. It is more of a conditioner for the wood than a polish.
I am refinishing an old pine table. When aplying stain, I got a few streaks where the stain would not bite. Someone recomended aplying wood conditioner on the "tricky spots", then the stain over. Does that work??
Tone V on Dec 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No, I don't think it will work. Stains are tough. You will be better off sanding and reapplying the stain. I would recommend using a wood condishoner first to prevent the stealing.
Can it be used on bare wood? Specifically a soft wood, Buckeye?
JeanAnnette S on Feb 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes it can be used on your wood or any wood since it is wax. But it provides the least protection. If the wood you plan to wax is not going to get much use and is not cleaned with de-greasers it should work fine.
Can I use this on my table top that has been stained and sealed with Minwax Polyurethane, clear gloss?
