Great Sturdy Locking Hinge!
I work at a local furniture store and we were having a problem with the locking mechanism on a cabinet bed hinge breaking. I ordered these hinges as replacements and they are by far a superior product. Thank you!

Works very well for small table
The legs I am using these brackets with are only about 13 inches long. When extended, the legs are very stable. When folded down, there is a little play in the bracket, but that is not a problem in my application. Overall, they are perfect for my small table.

I'll be using this on a workbench extension that is about 3'x8'. When it folds down it makes doors on the tools stored below. Folded up; a larger workspace. I like that I can use 2"x4" legs for added stability.

Special project, I needed to have control over the leg length, so I just attach the bracket and cut my leg to the length needed. Seemed like a perfect solution at a reasonable price.

I am mounting 2 x 2 x 36 hickory legs to a cutting table for my wife's quilting. Will the legs probably need additional support for stability?
Jim W on Jan 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have these brackets on my quilting extension table that is connected to my sewing machine cabinet for my quilting machine. My legs are 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" . These legs fold flat against the extension table and are secure , meaning they do not drop down from folded position.
Can this bracket accomodate a 2" x 4" table leg?
Joseph C on Oct 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It is a little light weight for a 2X4 leg. It may depend on the use of the table. It is a small base with little lateral support. I replaced mine with a much heavier attachment and a folding arm that attaches lower on the leg.

I'm building a farm table with collapsible legs. Are these brackets sturdy enough for 4x4 table legs?
Sean H on May 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I built an octagonal oak poker table measuring 60" across. I feel the table legs are sturdy enough to hold the table but there is some side to side wobble I am not real happy about. I do not fear a collapse of the legs but the table has more side to side movement than I care for.

when you mount the legs, they would have to be offset so they don't hit each other when they fold... right?
Karen C on Mar 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You can do that or We are using the brackets for a folding design table that straddles over the audience seating platform. Our legs fold over so that one leg rests on top of the other leg.
Would they work for a murphy bed?
Dan F on May 24, 2016

Is there any way that these could work with steel hairpin legs?
Amy G on Apr 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Might be possible to mount the hairpin legs to a block mounted to these but would change the profile most people are going for with hairpin legs and structurally would be pretty weak.
I have an antique card table whose hinges need replacement. Each leg folds down a separate side of the bottom inside of the table. The legs are 1" square. Are these the folding brackets that will do the job?
Susan on Aug 22, 2015
BEST ANSWER: These hinges are 1-3/4" wide so your legs might look a little small against them and the screw holes may miss your legs
