Works well
It does not work on my Dewalt contractor size table saw. I had to cut it down to make it fit. But I like it anyway!

DeWalt Jobsite Saw Accessory: The Incra Miter Express Miter Sled
I'm a woodworking hobbyist. I use the Incra Miter Express Miter Sled in conjunction with an Incra 1000HD Miter Gauge on my DeWalt DWE7480 jobsite saw on a regular basis. The size of the miter sled works really well with this jobsite saw. I already liked using the miter gauge before buying the sled, but adding the miter sled has increased the ease of use. This replaced my not so good cross cut sled. I just add a sacrificial board whenever necessary. Using the kerf between the sled and the fixed side has greatly increased the ease of setting alignment for a cut. The ending result is much more accurate.

With the gauge set all the way back in the sled, the combo makes for a great cross cut sled. Just add a sacrificial fence when needed. I usually store the combo as a single unit when not in use.

I learned something new the other day that might help someone. Until recently all of my cuts on the sled have been made at 90 degrees. When I spun the gauge to 45, it put the cut location much farther back behind the sled kerf and made it harder to align. It did not dawn on me until after I was done that all I needed to do was move the gauge up in the sled farther for easier cutting alignment. Try it, you'll see what I mean. Hopefully that little "DOH!" moment of mine will help someone.

Bottom line, I love what both the Incra products have brought to the table. Don't regret either purchase. If I ever get to move up (LOL) to a contractor saw or even bigger, I would most definitely would not hesitate to go with the Express big brother. Having the Express reduces my need for a "bigger" saw.

Thanks Incra. Thanks Rockler.

Waited to long!
I waited much to long to acquire the Incra Miter Sled. It works better than I thought it would. Combining it with my Incra Miter fence made my wood working life heaven. Like most wood workers accuracy is what I’m striving for on every cut and it certainly accomplishes that.

Good sled for the money
This sled works very good with the miter gauge. I feel that my level of safety has increased. Another nice addition to my woodshop. Setup was straightforward. It comes ready for saws that the blade tilts to the right but mine tilts left so I had to make changes. It's all covered in the instructions so no worries.

Woodworking Experience:
very accurate, well made
I recently bought this sled to use with a Kreg precision miter gauge. It arrived in time and well packed. Assembling the sled was straightforward. Incra has clear instructions and the parts are separated by plastic bags that are labeled appropriately in the instructions. I installed this sled on a ridgid TS3650 saw. Becauseo of the cutouts in the cast iron table, the sled had to be installed to the right of the blade to avoid having the second aluminum bar land in the hole.
That being done, the rest of the setup went easily.

Before attaching the miter gauge on it and cutting the panels I first adjusted my miter gauge to guarantee an exact 90 degrees (better than 1/100 using a 5 cut method and the microadjust of the kreg miter fence).

The gauge locked perfectly with the provide cam screws (tip: make sure you first install the screws with gauge out, then back them out and install the gauge, turn back to lock.)

I am very happy with this purchase. It is more pricey than making your own sled but you pay for the incra quality and accuracy, a worthwhile investment.

Because it is the only sled that incra has that will work with my Ridgid R4510 table saw. The Incra 5000 is too large for small portable contractor type table saws.

I have fond memories of going sledding in the winter. This year I thought we could try to relive some of those memories by going sledding again. I ordered this early in the fall to beat the first snow rush in case they sell out. It sounds like this is a good old fashioned sled made out of aluminum so I hope that it lasts for a long time.

Can this be used with a Dewalt job site table saw? Can it be used with Dado blades?
Sideshow on Dec 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, we used it on a sawstop jobsite saw. It can also be used with dado blades.
My table saw has the blade tilting to the left. The product manual recommends installation to the right side of the blade. The problem is that the table saw fence is also on the right of the table, which limits the length of the work piece. Do i have to remove the TS fence or I can install the Miter Express on yhe left side of the blade? Please advise. Thank you.
Harry B on May 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The fence should just lift off. While using the mitre express there should be no need for a TS fence as the fence is only useful for non-mitred cuts. The product assumes you already have the mitre gauge -- the gauge allows you to install a fence on it to hold the work piece at your desired angle. If you do not have the gauge yet an Incra gauge is recommended.

How long is the miter guide slot and how long is the sliding panel that attaches to it? Unfortunately, Rockler doesn't have one in any of the Minnesota stores for me to go look at right now.
joan h on Jun 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The meta extrusion, which has an adjustable miter bar which fits the table saw on the bottom and a slot for your miter gauge, is 23 1/2” long. The red sled sections are 15 1/2” long.
Will this work well with DEWALT DWE7480 table saw?
John2018 on May 1, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It should work with any table saw. You cut the sled to fit providing zero clearance with your blade.
will this work with rigid 4513 portable table saw?
Richard B on Jul 23, 2017
If I purchase the sled do I have to buy the Miter gauge with it? I already have the 1000 HD miter assembly?
Frank on Aug 27, 2015
Unless you need and can afford a dedicated miter for your sled You don't have to purchase the Miter gage with the Express miter sled. I recently purchased the Express and have been using my 1000HD with great results. The only "problem" is that you have to remove the 1000HD from the sled for those times that you need to use the miter without the sled.
Is there a video for assembling the sled?
A shopper on May 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have not seen a video but there was diagrams in the package when I purchased mine. It was easy to install. I use it almost every day and have only one negative comment. If you find that you need to remove it from the saw several times, the bolts holding the stationary part of the sled get worn out, needing replacement. It is accurate and I would recommend it for purchase.
Will this work with a Saw Stop job site saw?
Lamps on Sep 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Absolutely it’ll work. It will work on any saw or T-slot that is
3/4 X 3/8. There are plastic adjustment guides that allow you to adjust it to any T-slot for a perfect fit absolutely a beautiful sled
Will this Incra sled handle 24" wide cabinet sides ?
John H on Sep 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: yes it will, I have the incra 1000 miter that I use with my sled... have cut many 24" wide panels..
How thick is the Incra Miter Express Miter Sled? My table saw has 3-1/8' depth of cut and I frequently work with 1-3/4" to 2" wood. Will this Incra still work and will I be able to single pass, cut the wood? Thanks.
Tim V on Jan 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The Incra Miter Express sled is 5/8" thick and given the 3 1/8" depth of cut your saw has you should be able to thru cut stock up to 2 3/8" thick in one pass. This also is dependent on the density of the wood you are cutting and the HP of your saw. I use mine with a Rigid R4513 and have had no problems.
How does the incra miter-express sled affect dust collection performance on the table saw? Is the sled used in combination with a zero clearance table insert?
Jeffrey K on May 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't think that there is quite as good dust collection in the bag when I use the zero clearance insert so I only use when I am doing fine work. Dust collection is still pretty good if you connect a vac.
The question I have is the the Incra Miter Express, as shown here shows the Miter Gauge with the sled. So is that price including the sled or is this just the price (159.99) does that include the Miter?
Frank on Aug 27, 2015
BEST ANSWER: No it does not include a miter gauge.
Can you tilt the blade for bevel cuts when using this sled?
Randy W on Apr 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, if you tilt the blade away from the sled.
Will this work with my Craftsman 10" portable table saw? It has a table extension on the right side of the blade.
Bill K. on Feb 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: My sled is on a saw stop brand table saw. If your saw has guides on both sides of the blade it should work. Set up requires mounting the sled on both rails and sawing through the sled the first time it is used. It was a little strange to cut through the sled but after you do having a perfect reference is great. I have enjoyed the attachment and hope this review helps. Bill Fowler
will the miter guage 1000se and miter sled work on the shopsmith Mark V model 500. without any other items needed?
Ippoliti R on Mar 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I am not familiar with Shopmate system. If you have a standard slide channel in the table, it should work well. Very easy to setup and use.
Can a dado be used and can extra miter sled panels be bought and changed for different blades?
Ken M on Mar 12, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes. I have done precisely this. You can swap out the panels using nothing more than a screwdriver. You can get parts from Incra. You'll need a panel (part # MERPANEL), and don't forget the extra glide strips for the bottom of the new panel (part # PMXP-900200), not only for smoother sliding, but to keep the platform level.
Has anyone used this with Shopsmith MK 5/7, if so how did it work?
