Works perfectly. Allows me to customize the size opening for the router bit I choose. Great for working on small stock.

Work well on Rockler insert plates
I bought a Rockler insert plate may years ago. As such i had to go back to Rockler to get inserts. They fit perfectly just as the original. Now i have 3 sizes and one blank to be drilled out as needed.

The most flexable option for custom openings in a router table
I like to have router table inserts with openings that are close to the size of the router bit I'm using. Initially, I was using a bit that was much larger than the original insert opening so I just raised the bit up through the insert and enlarged it. Then I bought a blank insert to replace the original insert, then finally I bought several blank inserts so I can customize the inserts for any size bit I use on my router table. Now I never have too large a gap between the bit and the opening. Works perfect for me.

It fits my Rockler router plate perfectly
Not much to say about this except it fits my Rockler router plate perfectly...as it should. I purchased 2 of them and drilled holes with my forstner bits to get the perfect size and they work great.

Worked perfectly
Fit my router table insert with no problem. I modified it to zero clearance for putting a slight chamfer on some small pieces being used for knobs on cedar jewelry boxes. Worked great. Will buy others as needed. Easy to modify.

Router plate insert
These work out great, I had bought an aluminum router table plate for my old router & it died, it did not have the hole pattern for my new porter cable router, so I drilled a 1/4" hole in the center of this insert ( a center was already started) & mounted a 1/4" dowel in the router and assembled this plate on the aluminum plate and pushed onto the dowel sticking up out of the collet, this centered it on the aluminum plate so I could use some transfer screws to mark the location of the mounting holes. Came out great, saved me from buying another aluminum router table plate .

Purchased the aluminum plate for my Freud router several years ago and these are the plates that fit the opening. Blanks allow me to size the holes to any router bit diameter.

I chose this item at Rockler because I couldn't find it anywhere else... They rip you off on shipping, then take 7 to 10 days to get it to you... If you can find what you're looking for elsewhere, then shop elsewhere...

Whats the best way to drill these? Forstner bit or hole saw or something else? Thanks.
The router plate insert that came with my Benchdog ProLift lift is 4.25" OD and matches with the recess in the lift plate. Is the TARTI-B insert actually 4" OD? I am looking for additional insert plates to have customer sized openings so I need to know if these will work with my ProLift.
What size are the screws that come with these?

Need to adapt my Rockler Phenolic Router Plate B to accept the Leigh E bushing for the RTJ400 dovetail jig. Need 1-3/16" stepped to 1-3/8" for the bushing. Any suggestions?
BEST ANSWER: Rockler sold an insert with a 1.375 diameter counterbore It was called an 'Inter-Loc 1 3/8 Guide Bushing Insert'
This may be what you need. It has stiffening ribs and a parallel surface on the back side for the nut to bear against.
I don't find it online. It had a UPC number of 33175 29142
Searching now I only find a 1 1/4 adapter listed.
Maybe a phone call would settle this?

how can something with a 4" outside diameter fit into a plate with a 3-1/4" opening?
BEST ANSWER: The router plate will have a 4" diameter rabbet that the insert fits into, so the net opening is approx 3 1/4" (I measured it at 3 1/8")
