These work great for sanding sealer!
A new employee brought some of these into the cabinet shop when he started a few weeks ago. We had been using (a lot of) 220 paper to do finish sanding and he suggested we try these. They work great for smoothing down sanding sealer and sanding between laquer coats as they do not abrade fine edges or remove sprayed finishes. They easily contour to Roman ogee and complex details and are flexible enough to get into corners. In a production shop, time is money. If my guys can produce a better finish with smoother details, I'll have happier clients. If they can produce the results in better time, they'll have a happier boss.

Good Product
Have only used one of the pads and it worked just fine. I especially like that the pads are washable and, thus, can be reused over and over again.

Good idea; not very tear resistant
This is a good idea -- a thin layer of abrasive bonded to a foam sheet. It's flexible and useful for sanding contours. But the foam sheet is about 3/16" thick and if you catch it on a corner it rips very easily. It would be better if there was a thin layer of fabric, even a non-woven fabric, bonded to the back of the sheet to improve tear resistance.
