Definitely would recommend product!! My only disappointment is the boxing. Maybe that will be the first project on the list for the blades. An efficient storing device... ??

Well worth it
This Dado set did everything I asked of it. Not having tried any of the more expensive ones I can't imagine they can do any better job.

My first dado blade. I should nave had one ages ago. Cuts down work time so much I expected wobble or some problem, but no,
very smooth. Great addition to my tools.

I needed a dado set and this had very high reviews from a descent number (53). The price was also reasonable for something that I will not be using extensively.

I've had a wobbler for many years, and decided to upgrade to a stacked set. Read everything I could find about stacked sets and main thing was to have as many teeth on the chippers as possible. The 8" Oshlun has 6 chipper teeth, 2-3 times more than other brands
James T on Nov 27, 2015
A combination of Oshlun reputation and price. The reviews looked good.

Does it come with any kind of storage case?
Michael on Jan 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Things may have changed since 2016, but the one I just received didn't come with a case aside from the cardboard display box it came in.
Can I use this on a 10" Rigid tablesaw?
Michael C on Mar 4, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I don’t know about a rigid table saw. But this works great on my 1941 craftsman 10” table saw. What size is your arbor? As long as it’s 5/8 you should be able to.
Do this 8" Oshlun stacked dado cut a flat bottom or does it have a glue grove in the bottom?
John p on Mar 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I am not sure what you mean by a "glue groove". If what you are asking is this: does this dado stack leave grooves in the bottom of the cut area or is it a smooth cut, I would say that it does a fairly good job. I have only used the stack 2 or 3 times since getting it and I had not negative issues with it. With most blades, including the Freud Dado stack which is probably one of the best after market dado sets out there, there might be some lines or a small amount of clean to do. But in any case, a good, sharp chisel will take care of that unless the dado cut is in plywood. That can get kind of dicey, but so far, I have had no negative issues with my Oshlun Dado stack.
is there an instruction sheet for the setup of blades? where can I get one?
Rakahrd on Nov 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: There is a chart included with the Dado that tells which blades to use for cutting dado's from 1/4" to 13/16". There are shims included to adjust width of cut to correctly size for any thickness you need. There are not instructions for these fine adjustments.
What are the shim thicknesses?
sswalker on Mar 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: There are 8 pcs of shims with this set. 2 pcs. - 0.005" , 2 pcs. - 0.010" , 2 pcs. - 0.015" , 2 pcs. - 0.020" Hope this info is helpful to you, John P.
I have been using this Dado stack for about a year and just had the need to do a 1/4in cut. How do you set this stack up for a 1/4in cut? the reason i ask is because the outer blades are 1/8in thick each and i thought i had to use at least one chipper blade in between. I know some dado stacks allow just the outer blades to be used, but this one doesn't look like it can, the teeth are too close together. I appreciate any help. As a side note all the other cuts I've made with stack have been fantastic.
Arthur J on Jan 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I too have used both outer blades together to make a 1/4 inch dado, just make sure to stack them so the teeth are offset from one blade to the other and you won't have any issues.
