Exotic Padauk exhibits beautiful reddish orange coloring that will eventually fade to a warm brown with time and exposure to sunlight. The darkening can be slowed by using a UV-inhibiting finish. Strong, moderately heavy and extremely stable, these blanks are ideal for bowls and other turning projects. They can also be resawn into blanks for pens, knife scales, bottle stoppers and much more.
