Exotic Padauk wood exhibits beautiful bright red-orange color that gradually fades to a warm brown with age and exposure to sunlight. The darkening can be slowed by using a UV-inhibiting finish. Durable, stable and dense, these blanks are ideal for vases, candlesticks, coffee table legs and other spindle turning projects. They can also be resawn into blanks for pens, knife scales, bottle stoppers and much more.
