The Nickel Pinned Loops are excellent...
The Nickel Pinned Loops are excellent I'm using them for a carpenter's tool box I'm building.

Pinned Loop
This product is of extremely low quality. It is not a cast piece, but rather a flimsy stamped metal of a rather thin guage. It can be easy bent with the slightest of pressure. If you are looking for a nice handle to fix to your trunk or chest I would look elsewhere.

Is the Brad nail suppose to come out from the stamped steel body?
Mateo on Dec 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The 'nail' in the center is part of the mounting 'system' -- if it wasn't there, the leather loops would pull right out of the handle and you'd be holding them in the air. Whack that into the wood and install the screws after pre-drilling the holes with a small drill.
