can I get a soft pad for porter cable 382?
Ruth N on Aug 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I suppose the answer rests with what you mean by "soft". This pad is pliable and works well used either on flat surfaces as well as those which may be curved or rounded. The key is to keep the sander moving especially on non-flat surfaces. This pad fits well, is an easy replacement and makes your sander like new.
Is there a peel and stick option instead of the hook and loop
Steve v on Mar 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The question was not answered! I am not concerned about what someone else prefers for their specific application and environment. I also am looking for an adhesive pad and I prefer the adhesive pad over the hook and loop for finish work. My pad disintegrated after using my P-C for ~ 17 years, and again, does anyone know if an adhesive pad is available? Thank-you.
Will it fit on a porter cable 290?
Cory R on Jan 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I used it on my porter cable model 333 I do not know if it will work onyour 290
Dose this replacement pad fit model 343??
Don T on Dec 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I cannot specifically say this pad will fit your Model 343 as I do not own one but I have two different P-C 5" sanders including the P-C 333 and the pad fits both perfectly and works well. If you look at it from a production cost viewpoint it would not make sense to produce a different pad for each model of 5" sander. Hope this helps.
My Porter-Cable #333VS sander hook-and-loop pad came apart. On the back of the pad is part number 13909. Is part number 13904 the replacement for my original pad?
Donald T on Feb 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The 13904 replacement pad I bought from Rockler fits my PC#333VS sander just fine. My understanding is that the 13904 is the 5-hole pattern, while the 13909 has an groove in the face to also accommodate 8-hole sanding disks.
my disc has 3 holes, not 5, will a 5 hole work?
