I've been moving towards woodturning 'products' that are more 'practical' than 'ornamental, and after a few successful pepper grinders, thought this might be an interesting item to add to my portfolio.

BEST ANSWER: I just received some of the #50058 openers and I noticed that that a magnet will stick to them, unlike the #56381 openers that I've used in the past. I'm no expert, but I believe this means that the #50058 openers are made of a ferritic stainless which has a higher carbon content. Whether this means that they will be more prone to rust remains to be seen, but I would guess that the #56381 openers are a higher quality stainless and would perform better in outdoor conditions.
What is the measurement between the two screw holes to mount it? Looking for a specific application.
