Solid and easy to use.
Nice Fence. The only change I would make is to add phenolic adjustable fences instead of MDF fences.
This fence s very easy to use.

Great but limited table
Assembly instructions must have been prepared by IKEA. All you get is a drawing with parts, including parts that have no function. There are no instructions.

Great fence
While it is not a complicated piece of equipment, it is sturdy and easy to manipulate. I like it along with the Rockler Router Table. Great combo.

Router table fence
This fence is very good. Much better and easier to use than the two part fences I used for many years. The only drawback would be that the fence will not stay parallel to the T-track. You must make this adjustment manually. and the fence does not have a micro adjustment function. If it had these two capabilities, it would be the worlds most perfect fence.

It appeared to have good quality for the price and set up flexibility since I will have to modify it for my router table, but I will withhold ultimate judgement until I have used it for various projects.

Added it to my home made router table. The cost of materials for building my own fence seemed to be a wash with buying a quality fence already made

My old home built fence warped over time and seasonal weather variations. A fellow woodworker has this fence and recommended it highly.

what is the dimension between the tracks?
andy w on Jul 21, 2015
What is the length of the fence?
A shopper on Jul 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The fence's base dimension is 31.5" long. The fence is adjustable and the two faces can be extended to accommodate different router bits diameters. The faces can be adjusted to accommodate a 4.5" maximum bit diameter.
what are the two metal bars for that came with the router table fence?
donald z on Oct 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The two metal bars are used to convert the router table into a jointer for smaller pieces of wood. The bars go on the outfeed side of the fence between the MDF face fence and aluminum fence. Here is the information from the fence instructions:

Your fence has built-in jointing slots to accept the (2) small aluminum jointer bars that shipped with your router table. Installed in pairs, these bars “shim out” the out feed subfence either 1/16" or 1/32".
What is the height of this fence?
Mauricio P on Aug 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Mauricio,

The fence is 3 1/2 inches high.
What table is this supposed to fit? I purchased the Rockler laminate router table top, and this fence will not mount to this top. The Rockler table top has 5/16" slots for a fence and the supplied bolts with the fence are 3/8", no go for fitting. Without proper hardware, or application information this fence is worthless to me.

I want to build a router table on the extension of a table saw. Need to be able to remove this fence without any fixtures sitting above the level of the extension surface. Will this fence attach in that way?
William C on Apr 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It's designed to mount with 2 bolts from the underside - either through slots in the table or with T-bolts in a slotted track insert. If the table extension you are using is wood, should be no problem to rout grooves or slots for a track. I recently purchased one and it's pretty nice - custom aluminum extrusion with several t-slots and very adjustable.
Is there some way to store the jointing shims on the fence (like the Kreg fence), or do I have to figure out some other way to keep track of them?
Gary on Nov 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I kept the envelope they came in and hung it up in a convenient place.
I bought this fence when I upgraded my router table. The T track above the fence pieces sits back from the surface of the fence. When I add a Rockler feather board to the fence to hold down the piece I'm working on, the feather board sticks out at an angle because the fence pieces don't line up directly under the T track. Is there something I'm missing?
Bob on Mar 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The fence is thicker than the T-Track by 0.070" and you need to add spacers for any accessories. The router bit guard that came with my fence included 2 0.090" thick washers so that it sits proud of the fence. You'll need to do the same to get your feather boards to sit flush.
What's the advantage of having the MDF below the T-track instead of in front of the T-track like in the standard fence (http://www.rockler.com/rockler-router-table-fence-and-guard)?
David D on Aug 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have found that this configuration makes it easy to attach shop made jigs like a stop block or router bit guards. I prefer the MDF below the T track.
What is the height and depth of the aluminum extrusion ?
Michael M on Aug 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The overall aluminum extrusion has a height of 3.55" x depth of 3.47" x length of 31.5". Note these dimensions do not include the MDF boards on the front of the fence. MDF boards increase the depth of the fence slightly.
The slots on my router table to hold down the fence are 17 inches apart on center. Will this fence work with my table?
Susan A on Jul 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No, the center of the hold down slots on the fence are 27.25 in apart and are 3.5 in long, so the fence will not work on your table.
What type of stop works best with the front or rear t-tracks on this fence?
A shopper on Apr 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I use a T bolt and matching knob with a shop built block of scrap wood drilled to match the T bolt.
