Great addition to my woodworking shop
The Rockler Phenolic Router Table Top is exactly what I needed to perform precision cuts for my projects. The top is slick and allows the materials to slide on an almost frictionless surface.

Router table top
Heavy and sturdy table top. I put it on my own base and haven't used it yet, but looks like it will function very well.

I would highly recommend this table!!!
I love this router table! I bought a lift to go with it to make adjusting the router quick and easy, as well as feather boards for safety - my dad helped me set it up and it is awesome!!!

Why did you choose this?
Rockler Store
In the process of making a router table. I wanted something that would be moisture resistant because my workshop in my barn is unheated. If I was 10 years younger I would have went with the cast iron model.

I was told this is a very good top.

I went to a Rockler Store to try out and view their selection of router tables and found this table to be very sturdy and accurate. I purchased this in combination with the steel stand and Aluminum Pro Router plate and Safety Power Tool Switch and it has been a quality router table for me.

What's the opening size for the router lift?
Gregs on Feb 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The plate opening is 11 3/4 by 8 1/4 inches.
Is the phenolic router table top material workable? I need to trim the width down a bit so the table & top combination fits between a wall-mounted bench supports in my garage.
Joe R on Dec 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Since phenolic is a plastic resin based material, you should be able to machine the top on the table saw or using a router. I would remove the aluminum guide slot/T slot first and machine that separately and not try to cut them together.
What is the distance between two slots which is for fence bolt fasten? Also what is the slot size?
Kongbin K on Jan 24, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The distance between the two inner edges of the fence slots is 26 3/4 inches. The slots at the top of the table are 7/16 inch wide. If you need it, the outer edge of each fence slot is 2 inches from the edge of the table.
Hope this helps.
David
Are the holes for the adjustment screws supposed to be tapped to accept the threads on the bolts? I bought one from the outlet store and it does not appear they are tapped.
Tooljunkie on Nov 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Mine are not tapped. I believe the screws that come with it are self tapping. I use a different plate (Incra-mast-r-lift) that is drilled and tapped for leveling.
What size are the screws used to hold down the router plate?
alan g on Jun 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Used the counter-sunk bolts included with the table top to attach corner braces. Used #10 1.5" screws to attach the corner braces to the table legs. Legs were made from doubled 2X4's.
I have a Jesse router lift, is there a special top that I need to buy?
Joe S on Apr 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I am very satisfied with the Rockler Phenolic Table Top. I purchased the Rockler router lift with mine. If the Jesse lift is compatible with the Rockler router mounting plate you should have a nice set-up. Cliff
Bought the top and setting it up. I need to mount a switch and a dust box, both to the underside. Any tips for drilling and screwing into this material? In initial attempts the but walks and the material chips more than anything. Worried what screwing directly into it will do.
