Great addition to my woodworking shop
The Rockler Phenolic Router Table Top is exactly what I needed to perform precision cuts for my projects. The top is slick and allows the materials to slide on an almost frictionless surface.

Awesome Router Table
This is the second router top I've owned and is by far a leader in quality. Everything goes together nicely.

I would reccomend this again and again.

Why did you choose this?
Rockler Store
Bought to replace/upgrade from original mdf top
Glenn W on Dec 26, 2019
I now have an MDF top that has served its purpose well, but I wanted to get a phenolic top that is more durable. The Rocker router lift that I have is pretty heavy and it pulls on the levelers, so it's hard to keep the op level.

In the process of making a router table. I wanted something that would be moisture resistant because my workshop in my barn is unheated. If I was 10 years younger I would have went with the cast iron model.

I went to a Rockler Store to try out and view their selection of router tables and found this table to be very sturdy and accurate. I purchased this in combination with the steel stand and Aluminum Pro Router plate and Safety Power Tool Switch and it has been a quality router table for me.

What's the opening size for the router lift?
Gregs on Feb 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The plate opening is 11 3/4 by 8 1/4 inches.
Is the phenolic router table top material workable? I need to trim the width down a bit so the table & top combination fits between a wall-mounted bench supports in my garage.
Joe R on Dec 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Since phenolic is a plastic resin based material, you should be able to machine the top on the table saw or using a router. I would remove the aluminum guide slot/T slot first and machine that separately and not try to cut them together.
Bought the top and setting it up. I need to mount a switch and a dust box, both to the underside. Any tips for drilling and screwing into this material? In initial attempts the but walks and the material chips more than anything. Worried what screwing directly into it will do.
Jeffrey S on May 27, 2018
will it warp?
jeffrey on Feb 15, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Hi. My table is in a shop that is heated in winter and so never is below 40F. I am in Maine so the summer temp is not much more than 90s. My top has never moved. I would prefer cast iron but not in the budget. I am satisfied with my choice
Will the incra master lift 2 fit this table?
Bill P on Dec 28, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Not too sure since I don't have a lift on my router table.
What is the distance between two slots which is for fence bolt fasten? Also what is the slot size?
Kongbin K on Jan 24, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The distance between the two inner edges of the fence slots is 26 3/4 inches. The slots at the top of the table are 7/16 inch wide. If you need it, the outer edge of each fence slot is 2 inches from the edge of the table.
Hope this helps.

Will the table top accept different brands of routers?
Curtis on Dec 26, 2019
BEST ANSWER: absolutely. The top doesn't care what router you use. However you will want to read up on the specs of the router lift that you choose to make sure it's compatible with the router you want to use. most lifts are designed to work with either the Bosch or the Porter-Cable routersEnter
Are the holes for the adjustment screws supposed to be tapped to accept the threads on the bolts? I bought one from the outlet store and it does not appear they are tapped.
Tooljunkie on Nov 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Mine are not tapped. I believe the screws that come with it are self tapping. I use a different plate (Incra-mast-r-lift) that is drilled and tapped for leveling.
what is the size of the router plate?
Robert T on Apr 21, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Phenolic Router Plates are 8 1/4" x 11 3/4" and 3/6" thick
I have a Bench Dog Prolift with a 3/8” plate. Will this top accept a 3/8” plate?
Frameman on Mar 9, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Yes it will. I have the Rockler pro lift 3/8” plate
Is the fence included?
ScottWV on Feb 9, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I looked on their website and notice there is a package that includes the fence, table and a plate (based on the model of router). The description will indicate if the fence is included. I'm quite sure the top I purchased was with the plate and fence. If I was younger and into woodworking on a greater extent I would have spent the extra money and ordered the the cast iron top.
What size are the screws used to hold down the router plate?
alan g on Jun 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Used the counter-sunk bolts included with the table top to attach corner braces. Used #10 1.5" screws to attach the corner braces to the table legs. Legs were made from doubled 2X4's.
I have a Jesse router lift, is there a special top that I need to buy?
JOSEPH S. on Apr 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I am very satisfied with the Rockler Phenolic Table Top. I purchased the Rockler router lift with mine. If the Jesse lift is compatible with the Rockler router mounting plate you should have a nice set-up. Cliff
