Unique pens
I don't think I could have figured out how to piece this pen together without the online PDF. I also had to order custom size drill bits to set the tubes properly. When all was said and done, I was very happy with the way they turned out.

Nice looking pen.
Completed with desert ironwood blank, good color combination.Just wish the cap would have been the retainer type on this kit. Great price and very nice finish though.Assembled easily.

Great pen style
Have done a few already. Nice size and weight. Goes together easy. Please note that the written directions call for a 1/2 in bit but the accessories list a 31/64. The 1/2 in is correct.

prepare to spend more money on added products to complete this kit
This kit is just meh. The ink that they provided is scattered / splotchy, but the main problem is you have to buy several other products just to make this one product work. It's frustrating that Rockler doesn't give you a heads up beforehand. The tubes are so thick that the only way to get them square is to buy expensive trimming sleeves.
