Very usefull
Very well designed, only took about 10 mins to get the right set up instead of fiddling around for hours. Well worth the money, even though I had to pay postage from the U.S. to the U.K. to get it. The nearest U.K. equivalent cost about 4x as much.

Excellent router bit set-up jig
This precision jig was utilized in a learning situation where intermediate woodworkers were introduced to fabricating beautiful hardwood and custom veneer jewelry boxes. This was their introduction to lock miters and the set-up went flawlessly. The end results came out fantastic!

Very impressed
Made setup a breeze actually got it perfect on first try
A little messing around as I don’t have super fine adjustments on my router table
But once I had everything locked down and the jig matched perfectly was great fit

Setup block
Using the corner lock joint bit is tedious to get right unless you use this setup block. This made it simple

do they make a block for 1/2" stock?
John G on Apr 21, 2020
BEST ANSWER: We only make the one size setup block.
How exactly does this work with 5/8 stock? All my test corners had a substation gap/misalignment. I had to manually adjust he bit using a straightedge to get it fairly close.
Marcin W on Jan 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The jig has one side for 3/4" material and one side for 5/8" material
Do these lock miter jigs work with other manufacturer lock miter bits?....jeff
Jeffrey P on Jun 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This setup block is designed to work specifically with Rockler Lock Miter bits.
The instructions say ir good for both 5/8: and 3/4" thickness boards. I can't tell the difference between them?
Danny S on Apr 23, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Yes. It works with both size bits.
This is great for 3/4” ply, but what do y’all do for 1/2” ply? Seems odd that the other side is for 5/8” instead of 1/2”...
Katherine P on Sep 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Using the 3/4” bit requires trial and error until acceptable results are obtained. Purchasing the gig to fix is a great help. Suggest the trial and error method for the other bit. If a fit jig is available, purchase it for assistance. Trails are great if used on properly sized scrap lumber!
Will these work with non-rockler bits?
Neil A on Nov 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It did not work with the bits I had from another company, I'm guessing they only work on Rockler brand
