Rockler Sawhorse Clips for Bench Cookie Plus® Pack of 4 Clips

Sawhorses are incredibly practical when you need a lightweight, portable work surface, but if you've used them much, you know that workpieces tend to rattle around and get scratched while you saw, rout and sand. With the Bench Cookie® Plus Sawhorse Clips, that's no longer a problem. Simply slip the clips over your sawhorses, spin your Bench Cookies® Plus on, and you have a no-mar, no-slip work surface that is easily resizeable for any workpiece. The grip is so secure, it's almost like having a fully equipped workbench with dog holes and a vise. Plus, you can slip some Bench Cookie® Finishing Cones on for an ideal finishing surface with no worries about dripping stain on your nice workbench.

The 2x4 clamps are a good thing to have
I bought 4 of these for one purpose. To hold pieces of plywood when using sawhorses. What I found for that purpose is mixed. While I love how the plywood stays put, sometimes I do want to be able to slide it around. Moving 1 4x8 sheet of plywood while it’s sitting of 4 of these cookies is impossible. They hold the plywood so well if you push hard enough on the wood you may push the earth off it’s path around the sun. But it sure won’t slide on the cookies. Lol I tried holding the wood up, pivoting on one cookie. When turning it I tore some of the rubber on the cookie. It still works fine though. So maybe in some situations they work too well. lol On another note I can use one cookie and a saw horse clamp to replace a clamp of some kind (bar or C) that I sometimes clamp to a sawhorse to keep a 2x4, 2x6, etc. from sliding when I cut it. When a cut's accuracy isn't critical it's easy to hold a 2x4 with one hand and the saw with the other and just cut it. But sometimes I absolutely want to lock the board in place and keep both hands on the saw (which is what you are supposed to do anyway :) ). The cookie and clamp did this perfectly well the one time I've done it. I’m sure I’m not the first one to do that and I’m also sure there are other different uses for these things. Anyway, I’m glad I got 4 of them and if I see that I need more I’ll get them. They are a great accessory to have.

These cookies provide a non-marring & non-slip surface to place your workpiece. Additionally, these cookies allow you to raise the workpiece
for clearance when you are sawing material and not cutting into the sawhorses.

Wanted to try with bench cookies on temporary 2"x4" saw horses. They worked very well but since most of my saw horses are wider than 2" found use very limited for my situation.

Purchased the Rockler T-track table top and need to have quality accessories for it. This was one of several items purchased with the T-track table. I'll use sawhorses and plywood to support the T-track table top until I finish a base cabinet for the top.
