This blade is a direct replacement for the one included with your Bench Dog® Tools No. 62 Low Angle Jack Plane (#51138, sold separately). Having a spare iron on hand ensures you'll always have a sharp edge to deal with challenging grain, and you can also purchase multiple blades and grind each to a different bevel angle to suit a range of applications. The blade is made from 1/8'' thick hardened carbon steel for reduced chatter and excellent planing characteristics.

Woodworking Experience:
Blades should have tolerances like the sole of the planes. Mine that came with low angle jack is cupped pretty good it would take a belt grinder to flatten it. The grind was not perfectly square took a little work on the stones. Though once the plane was set up i didnt really notice any issues

BEST ANSWER: No. The blade will physically fit the plane but it lacks the hole in the blade to engage the Norris style adjuster.
