No more floating drill bit
Very effective way to make an indent so help with drilling so it bit will not walk. Does require two free hands. Someone needs to make a push to punch tool.

Simple but fantastic!
Should’ve bought this a long time ago. Simple product but it’s so awesome! Just make sure to keep a good hold of it on your nail or you may make a separate hole. Great product though!

This surprised me
I have several nail sets in different sizes and I try to be good about not making more of a hole than is required, but it often makes more of a mess than I would like. With this you set one end or the other on the nail head, depending on the size, pull back the spring and release. Shockingly, it really works! So well I doubt I will ever go back to a regular nail set.

What type of material are the tips made of? Can the tips be replaced?
Wayne W on Dec 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I believe that the tip is made from Tool Steel or hardened and that is the same as the body of the device---it works ok but not for significant sizes other than very small finishing nails---much better for marking a hard surface for drilling
Why is it sold in a set, do you need one for each function?
Mik M on Dec 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The term "set", in this case, means nail set, not a group of similar items. They work well, I have worn two of the smaller ones out. After a LOT of use, the spring stretches to al,oat useless . I will be replacing mine, though
