Just for fun
This was a very fun build, even more than I expected. I think it even sounds good though I haven’t had my expert friends check it out yet.

wow.
WOW is what everyone said when they saw it. I built this for a family member. I am a woodworking teacher so I can make stuff, but this was my first instrument. I loved making it and I will most likely make others.

Watch the measurements
Be careful with the measurements given for attaching the neck to the body. The one drill hole measurement given is wrong by about 1/4 of an inch. I used dowel centers to be sure the dowels fit correctly to the body. Otherwise, between the videos and the instruction manual, everything went well. Now I just have to learn to play it. Getting the nylon strings to stay in tune is going to take some time.

Where does the kit come from?
Janice W on Nov 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Says it right in the description. StewMac. Quality kit to get you started on building your own instruments. I started with those kits then moved right into making my own custom Ukulele's. Check mine out @de_houtwinkel
Are or can these ukes be “electrified”?
Daniel D on Jan 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I just built one. It does not come electrified but I'm certain you could buy a small pick-up for it.

Fun little project.
