Tormek Multi-Base US-430

Installed on the universal support of your Tormek sharpener, this Multi-Base allows you to sharpen a perfectly flat tool bevel using the side of Tormek 8'' and 10'' diamond grinding wheels. It installs in either the vertical or horizonal mounts and is fully adjustable to best accommodate the tool edge, jig or your sharpening stance.  

Tormek Multi-Base US-430 Details:

• Allows you to sharpen a perfectly flat tool bevel using the flat side of your Tormek diamond grinding wheel
• Ideal for sharpening flat bevels on luthier knives, Kiridashi knives, V-gouges, chip-carving knives, Japanese planes, skew chisels and more
• Installs in either the vertical or horizontal mounts of your Tormek sharpener, whichever works best for your tool, jig or stance
• Fits Tormek T-8, T-4 and older sharpeners

Note: Sharpening on the flat side of the wheel is only recommended with diamond grinding wheels. Grindstones will wear down and require truing, which isn't possible to do on the side of the grindstone.
