Huia sculpture
Please see the photograph I submitted.
I used your wax on the sculpture to protect it. It stops the bronze from oxidizing & buffs up well.

Antiquewax Polish
I purchased this to use on my 1927 Gibson Mastertone conversion banjo as it does not contain silicon nor have adverse effects on the nuclear plated parts. This 92 year-old instrument shines as new now!

Useful for effective care and treatment of quality wood furniture
The bed and dresser are well over one hundred years old. The wood had been washed down with a mixture of warm water and TSP to remove smoke residue from a house fire thirty nine years ago. Orange Oil was used to remove the smoke from the endless crevices before applying the Antique Wax. It’s obvious which sections have been cleaned and waxed and what pieces are still waiting their turn. I will be ordering several more cans of wax before the entire set made up of ten different sections has been treated with the respect it deserves. It may sound strange but it almost feels like the neglected wood thanked me for trying to take proper care of it.
Color difference of cleaned and waxed treated top and dull uncleaned bottom section.
Mirror frame only section cleaned and waxed.

Woodworking Experience:
A great old fashioned wax
The wax is very convenient to apply and does not have a strong lingering smell. A small quantity on a clean cloth is all I need to clean up a round 40” diameter wooden table .

Is this product good for painted, decorative wood pieces? Will it add lustre?
Ellen K on Jun 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I never paint wood. This is a very good wax, and it has added luster to numerous projects I have built. I would not hesitate to try this product on painted projects, but keep in mind that once you add wax to a project you will have trouble refinishing it with paint.
Can I use this wax over mahoney utility finish and is it food safe?
Hillary F on Aug 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have no idea.
What are the ingredients in this product? Is there any odor or added fragrance? I am sensitive to chemical fragrance and chemicals.
Kristin L on Nov 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It does have a fragrance but not strong chemical but more of a peppermint or candy like odor. Softer that shoe polish or Johnson Paste wax. Easy to apply and works pretty well. Ingredients not listed but keep away from flames or sparks indicates petroleum base probably as in many waxes
is it good for cast iron tablesaw top?
neal d on Mar 24, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes and any good wax will do. But don’t forget in the end mother nature always wins. Thus, you will have to reapply it as needed.
I have an antique piano that I have removed the paint. Can this product be used for refinishing my baby grand?
Cindi A on Nov 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: There's probably nothing you can't finish with Antiquax. I have been using it for over ten years in finishing my wood sculptures. There might seem some color change when you first apply it, but soon the original color of the wood will dominate. I usually use four applications--with light sanding (600 grit) in between.
Can this be used on outdoor teak furniture?
CARL V on Sep 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It can yes. I'm not sure how much durability it will have though.
Does carnuba wax oxidize over time with undesirable results?
Lea K on Feb 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have never had that trouble with my application on furniture. But, I will add that most of this furniture gets buffed at least once a month.
