Bora storage rack
Assembly is quick and easy as was mounting on my interior garage wall; I've been cleaning lots of odds and ends out of my workshop and found the right amount of various lumber species to fill all 6 rack holders to the limit. Couldn't be happier!!!

Good lumber racks
Easy to set up and install. Saved much needed floor space in our small shop. Yes, I could have made my own but we are in the middle of a project so decided to get there. Well worth it!

Woodworking Experience:
Really helped me organize lumber in my garage
OK, I'm a lumber pack rat. My wife is not impressed. I especially like old boards that I stumble across (I repurpose them into a variety of projects). This rack went a long way toward getting the boards I had stacked against my garage wall off the floor and out of the way. They quite easily handle 8' boards and you can store a surprising amount on these 6 shelves.

Great lumber rack
This item went on sell so I decided to purchase two sets for my new shop. Easy to install, holds a good bit of material and doesn’t have a big foot print.
Highly recommend!

ERNEST N on May 22, 2020
Purchased these to get the wood off my floor in the barn. Barn is 12 ft high so, I ordered the shorter system to go along with the 6 tier systems. Can't make it too high or I won't be able to reach the wood. I am checking on how to bring the uprights out beyond the pole barn posts so I have storage for the 16 & 14 ft. boards. We will see what works.

I am not fortunate to have any large space to work on my woodworking, I work out of my teeny tiny garage on a tight budget, this product is the perfect size for a great price. I have seen this product in many professional workshops and they highly recommend it. Can't wait to use it to organize my wood scraps!

I had installed another set of racks similar to these a month or so ago; I had filled the rack up to capacity and like them so well, I decided to get another set to finish arranging the clutter leaning against my garage walls or stuck overhead between the ceiling joists. These racks make it much easier to access the pieces I need; looks so much neater too!

I need to rack heavy lumber (e.g. 2-3" thick and 7-11' long) for bar tops and and thicker materials for fireplace mantels. Could two of these units be erected next to each other to increase carrying capacity? Also, can some larger tubular steel be place over the horizontal pieces to make it able to rack 20" wide pieces?
Jerryco on May 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: A. Sure. Put one vertical on each stud if you want. B. Don't see how, wouldn't even try. The horizontal pieces don't seem strong enough to bear the load: I bet they'd bend.
When you say "each," do you mean each single bracket or each pair of brackets?
Bruce B on Sep 3, 2015
BEST ANSWER: 'Each' refers to one complete system, both uprights with six levels for storing
Can I store my lumber on edge instead of flat?
Joe E on Apr 11, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The rack shelf spacing is aprox. 6". You can redrill for wider spacing. So I guess the answer is YES after you set your shelf spacing to what you need.
Are these sold as a pair or single vertical units?
Nick P on May 31, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes. They come as a nice functional pair and work very well for wood storage.
Can you cut them in half to make a longer rack??
ECduzzit on Jun 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: it is not recommended
I would like to get the lumber rack but the place I'm going to use is like a storage unit that I can't drill holes in walls will it sit on the floor on its own?
Sammy G on Jul 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I purchased 2 treated 4x4x6 post and used hose clamps to mount around support post of storage building which were on 4' centers. Mounted rack on post. So far so good.
if long term storage is used I assume everything will warp?
Kramrat on Mar 1, 2020
BEST ANSWER: If you are just using the two racks in this pack, there can be a chance of lumber warping depending on the lumber thickness and length of board. You could probably get around this by putting a plywood shelf or other type of shelf on the rack, then stacking the lumber on top of that. I've gotten around it by buying two kits, so there are 4 supports per shelf. I haven't had any issues with lumber warping, and they're about 16" on center. Really long boards (over 10') may have a chance of sagging on the ends.
Would I be able to use this out doors? Would there be a problem of rusting?
DAVID S. on Nov 30, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Here in AZ at 5500 ft it wouldn't be :) It is very well made and very sturdy, well coated/painted. With an over hang I think it would be fine in a humid climate... having lived in Portland, OR for four years. Mine is loaded up all the time and rock solid not to mention 'elegant in its simplicity'. Hope this helps.

Dan R

are the arms adjustable ?
ROBERT B on Apr 1, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Each of the arms that support the lumber (not the arms that are fixed to the wall) are adjustable in height on the wall supports, but only within the limits of the positions set on the vertical supports. They are not adjustable in length sticking out of the wall.
Is this wall mount or free standing?
Spike on Mar 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This lumber rack mounts to the wall,it is very strong and holds a good amount of lumber.
I can see the height and the depth but not the length from end to end?!???
Crowing rooster on Nov 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: You mount the end rails to the wall individually, so that part is up to you. If you mount them too far apart, any lumber you store may sag and bow in the middle. Too close together and the ends of your lumber will drop causing upward bow in the center. Mine are 4 ft apart with no problem for 8 ft lumber.
Are the six layers fixed as part of the vertical supports or could I use just three for example for stuff that's 8 or 10 inches high?
Lonelyringer on Dec 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You can skip layers to allow more room and also change the location of the layers by drilling new screw holes in alternate positions.
Could two of these be used back to back and mounted on casters to make a mobile rack?
Evan P on May 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: That would depend on how much weight you put on them. I suppose if you built an "a-frame" style rack it could be loaded up without tipping over.
Do you have a rack with more weight capacity?
Richard D on Jun 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I've have had the rack for several years and it has easily carried 3-400 Bd. Ft. of 4/4 material. I bought two rack systems and attached the rails at 48" centers to an external 2x4 which was then attached to the metal studs of the building through the sheetrock.
My basement walls are solid poured concrete. what method and materials should I use to attach the system to the wall?
Richard H on May 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Concrete anchors. Several styles readily available in any hardware store. Choose one that will support your anticipated weight.
I plan to install in my shop. how long are the uprights? I need at least 5 ft. Do they come longer?
