Excellent precision sled
Very excellent sled. Well engineered and easy to assemble. I changed mine to run on right side of blade since I have a Saw Stop which tilts left. Very sturdy and of fine workmanship. I had a missing part which the manufacturer immediately sent me no questions asked.

I highly recommend.

Woodworking Experience:
Great sled for 90’s, 45’s and everything in between.
I love this sled. Easy to set up, extremely accurate and repeatable. 45’s to 90’s and back are spot on for me. Took a bit to assemble and dial in but like every tool, worth the effort and paid dividends. Every incra tool I’ve gotten has been good thus far. Fast to dial in an exact angle and although not cheaper than a shop made sled, replaced several and is more accurate. Just be aware that the fence is aluminum and if you don’t pay attention with a sawstop you’ll get the opportunity to test the brake. An expensive mistake on my part. I wasn’t paying attention to the fence location and tripped it ala Homer Simpson. DOH!

I thought about building a sled, but it’s very hard to come close to the precision of the Incra 5000. The added features make it more than a sled; stops, angles, telescoping fence, and just the RAD look of incra are amount my favorites.
Very happy with this item.

Carol H on Jun 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have a DeWalt DW746X left hand tilt. It works perfectly. I am very happy with the product. It is a great time saver and makes perfect cuts. I don't know if this helps but I would highly recommend this product.
Bosch Reaxx. I am ordering a Bosch Reaxx table saw and wondering if this will work with it. I suppose I am mostly concerned about the distance between the miter slot and the blade. A friend has the REAXX so I measured. about 6.5 inches from the blade to the closest edge of the miter slot. I can't find any docs to tell me min/max the 5000 will handle. Anyone ?? thx
David H on Jul 20, 2016
Will it work on a old right tilt unisaw?
Frankie on Nov 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes. I installed mine on a right tilt Unisaw. I don't intend to tilt the blade with it, just 90 deg. cuts. I installed it with the miter gauge on the right so the work piece has more support on the extension table. Just personal preference. This was more important to me than tilting the blade. If you install the miter on the left, you could tilt the blade, no problem. No wrong way, just depends on the kind of things you like to make.
Will this work on a compact DeWalt 7780 10" table saw?
Donho on May 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I use it on a 10" Ridgid contractors saw on a movable job-site stand. As londg as the mitre tracks are a standard size it should work fine.
Will the Incra Miter 5000 sled fit a Dewalt DWE7491? Thanks in advance!
Michael E on Feb 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Noooooooo ! I learned the hard way. I may lose $100 in restocking fee. Get the smaller sled instead. Incra Miter Express Miter Sled Item # 29383
Does it work with a Sawstop table saw?
J S on Jul 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: My Sawstop professional cabinet saw is a left-tilting saw, unlike most table saws. The Incra 5000 comes set up for right-tiling arbors but there are good instructions for adapting the miter sled for left-tilt. Mine gives good service and the Sawstop is a fine piece of equipment.

Does this work with older craftsman saws?
Ben R on Jan 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Make sure and measure your slide guides on your table saw. I have a Craftsman and mine are 5/8 inch wide. These guides with this system are 3/4 inch wide. I had to have my guides machined.
Does it work with a shopsmith?
Jared V on Jul 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I think you need a different bottom (thinner) bar
will this work on a craftsman 10" m# 137.218073?

What is the difference incra 3000se v incra 5000?
P 2 on May 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The Incra 3000se is just the miter and the fence. the Incra 5000 is the miter, fence and the table portions
can you tilt the saw blade with the 5000?
Lyle M on Aug 20, 2015
BEST ANSWER: You can tilt the blade using the miter sled. Caveat: For an angled cut, the blade will tilt away from the miter side of sled base and towards the “standing/support” side of the sled base (either left/right tilting blade). You have a few options, a) keep the sled base away from the blade, thereby maintaining its close proximity for a 90 degree cut; b) cut the angle and deal with the gap; or c) buy/make a replacement/secondary base for angled cuts.
Does this version come with the panel that goes on the right side of the blade?
Bob G. on Mar 21, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Yes. You cut it to size on your saw to make it fit.
Will this work on a Skil 10" table saw? The Skil saw seems to have a different miter gauge slot than standard saws.
Terry on Apr 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It uses a standard slot, so No it won't fit
will this work with a grizzly 10 inch table saw?
george c on Feb 11, 2020
BEST ANSWER: i use mine on a 10 inch rigid I've been using for 20 years so I would think that your grizzly saw would be compatible. I've found most tracks are standard sized and you cut off excess to fit your saw so with that being said I enjoy my sled and would recommend it.
Are there any issues with the SawStop electronic break and this crosscut sled?
Gary M on Jan 17, 2020
BEST ANSWER: If the blade touches the fence, it will trip the brake. I found this out the hard way when I was trying to cross cut something at other the 90 degrees. Otherwise, no issues.
Will this work with a Dewalt DWE7490?
Jim W on Jul 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: If that saw is a contractor saw, it should fit. But the platform size takes up a lot of real estate. It surely fits a cabinet saw much better.
Is this compatible with multiple saws? I.E. can I move it between a sawstop professional and a powermatic PM 66?
Nick S on Jul 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It is compatible with my old Delta. I think t is very accommodating to different table saws. It improved my table saw accuracy and usefulness.
With a little tweaking you can change saws.
The pictured sled seems to be mirror imaged.. the miter sled is on the right side and the dummy drop-off panel is on the left. Does the Miter 5000 work either way? Can I put the miter on the left side of the blade?
David H on Jul 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, Instructions are provided to do what you want
Will this work on a Shopsmith Mark V? I already have a Shopsmith sled but any wood stock more than 12” wide makes it unstable and unusable.
Dan B on Jul 26, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No idea. I recommend getting a Format 4 sliding table panel saw.

I have the Ridgid R4510 on a Contractor portable base table saw, will the Incra Miter 5000 sled work with my table saw?
KRIS E on Aug 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This miter sled will work with any table saw as it is assembled and set up by the buyer. The sled is cut to fit by buyer. Be careful during setup as you have one chance to make sure it is square during setup. Spectacular sled.
I have a de Walt job site saw and the fence for the incra 5000 is too long. I can use it in the shop but I want a shorter fence. Can that be done?
Gordon D on Jul 29, 2018

I already have the incra miter gauge 1000 HD—-is this an accessory to that or does it include the miter gauge (which already have)?
Paul H on Mar 8, 2020
BEST ANSWER: This is an entirely new miter gauge. it comes with a new large mitre guage with more stops and an actual sled to handle your workpiece, i have both, i started with the 1000HD and now i use only this. i kept my 1000HD to use around other machines that takes a miter guage such as my bandsaw and router table since it is smaller in size.
