This setup gauge is used to quickly and accurately set up the MatchFit Dado Stop (#69515, sold separately). It automatically accounts for the exact thickness of your blade and the run-out of your saw, resulting in perfect-fitting dados and inlays. Just follow the simple instructions for sawing a kerf into the gauge. The gauge also functions as a square when setting the legs of the Dado Stop jig. Space is provided on the label to record which saw and blade the gauge has been modified for. The setup gauge also works for setting the height of the groove for the MatchFit Dovetail Clamps (#61047, sold separately).
