Redtree Industries' Badger style brush is handcrafted with 100% natural bristle, making it a top choice for oil-based paints, stains, varnishes, urethanes and shellac. Wooden handle with rounded contours provides excellent balance and deft touch, while the thick head of bristles holds a generous amount of finish for extra-smooth flow and even leveling. Chisel trim allows you to cut in sharply and cleanly. Made in USA. Each brush has a convenient hanging hole.

Amazing brush
My installer used this brush, then I did when he messed up the final coats. This is an expensive brush, and worth every penny!

I bought these brushes to apply...
I bought these brushes to apply polyurethane to cabinet doors and although they took a bit of getting used to, I am now very glad I spent the money. The finish is superb and the brushes loaded-up nicely.

I must admit it took some...
I must admit it took some hard thinking to spend this much on a brush, but what a difference. I bought the 2" brush and used it to spread polyurethane on a table top. The finish looks smooth and professional. Well worth the money.

this brush looks like the one that was carried by glidden some years ago.... I have been all over trying to find one...do you know if its the same?
lance on May 22, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Lance,

I do not know if this is the brush carried by Glidden. Obviously, you liked that brush - but regardless...
This is a high quality brush - the aspect that makes for this is a heavy natural bristle count that is well designed and crafted, This will allow the brush to hold a high volume of finish material (top coat etc.) and release it evenly when brushing on (applying) the finish. That is centrally what your looking for in this type of brush, and if you like it, and can afford the price, it is well worth it.

What is the brand name on the brush?
Wm. W on May 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Redtree brand. "Badger" style. Not actual badger hair, but the brushes are very good.
