Works as intended
Easy to put together and it holds my small Nova lathe well. It serves it purpose well and should fit on a variety of mini lathes as it it highly adjustable.

Just received the stand for my Rikon midi lathe. Went together easily and seems to fit my needs for space. Sturdy.

To give better access to the back of my lathe. Previous lathe sat on my workbench and was difficult to access the belt and change speeds.

Can't see any difference in this one and the Nova. I would like to know if this one would fit the Nova Comet II because $20 saved here could surely be used on some other turning accessory that I'm sure I'll need. Anybody ever try the Nova on this?
Bryan on Nov 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Not sure but if the holes don't line up you could mount a piece of steel to the stand and then mount the lathe to the steel. But that would probably cost more than the $20 it would take to get the right one unless you already have the steel and a way to drill the holes.
How do you remove the feet? I would like to replace with casters
Step B on Mar 24, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Unthread the foot from the bolt, Loosen the lock nut on the bolt that goes through the base and unthread the bolt. The hole in the base has a metric nut welded in place. Metric casters seem to be completely unavailable in this country so you will have to improvise a base and bolt it under this base with smaller bolts through these holes. Make sure that it is sturdy enough to avoid introducing unwanted vibration.
