Considering how much wood your router bits go through, it's not surprising that they get caked with residue after a while. Keep them running like new with our handy router bit cleaning kit. The kit consists of a cleaning reservoir with on-board storage for an included folding brass brush, a ''bit grip'' with collets for safely holding your bits while cleaning, and a dual-grit diamond hone for putting a fresh edge on the cutters. The lid features circular holders that are stepped to accept 1/4'', 8mm and 1/2'' shanks. Just plug your bits into the holders and once the lid is installed, it suspends your bits upside down in the cleaning solution (#77319, sold separately) without allowing the cutters to clank against each other.

• Translucent reservoir features viewing windows for assessing the bits inside, plus an O-ring gasket for a tight seal
• Reservoir can accommodate bits sized up to 3-1/4'' in diameter
• Folding brass wire cleaning brush works great for loosening stuck-on pitch

Note: We recommend using CMT Formula 2050 Blade and Router Bit Cleaner (#77319, sold separately) to clean your router bits. Do NOT leave cleaning fluid in the reservoir for more than three days.
