Rockler Undersized Plywood Router Bit Set
Specially designed to cut perfect-fitting grooves and dadoes for plywood that measures less than its stated nominal thickness.
Item #
60788

Plywood is usually thinner than the nominal measurements indicate. As a result, regular size bits usually don't cut a tight-fitting dado. Fortunately, undersized dado bits like these will help your joinery fit perfectly, resulting in stronger assemblies and nearly invisible joint lines. This set includes the three most common sizes of straight bits for undersized plywood: 23/32" for 3/4" plywood, 31/64" for 1/2" plywood, and 15/64" for 1/4" plywood.

(1) 23/32" Straight Bit for 3/4" plywood
(1) 31/64" Straight Bit for 1/2" plywood

Time saving and accurate.
I'm just learning to use my router. This is better than my dado blade and makes a cleaner cut.

Right on the money!
Undersized plywood fits the groove perfectly. Not loose, not too tight, but just right. Saves a lot of trial and error time.

Do you sell 1" straight router bits?
BEST ANSWER: I don't think they sell a 1" straight router bit. You can make the cut with 2 passes. Cut one side with a 3/4 router bit then cut the other side with the same 3/4 router bit so you don't have to anymore adjustments. Just make a straight edge for your router and use it on both sides. Hope this help you.

Will these bits allow me to use the Festool MFK 700 to cut 6mm deep dadoes in 19mm thick plywood? The MFK 700 has stringent size requirements - cutting length can't be greater than 5/8" and a shank length not more than 1 13/16" - 1/4" collett (or 8 mm)
