Rockler Thin-Rip Table Saw Jig

Our full-featured Thin-Rip Table Saw Jig will help you cut thin strips from the edge of a wider board so the offcuts fall away safely from the blade on the left side rather than becoming potentially trapped between the blade and rip fence. It also makes repetitive cutting easy, when you need to rip multiple matching strips for shelf edging, bent laminations and more. A thin hairline cursor zeroes-out the jig to the blade teeth, then sets it to precise cutting widths using either imperial or metric scales. The jig's expanding miter slot bar fits standard 3/4'' x 3/8'' miter slots and locks securely with an Easy-to-Grip Four Star Knob. The other knob controls the jig's width of cut. Dual ball bearings provide a smooth, supportive contact surface when feeding a board against the jig and rip fence during cutting. Two mounting options for the miter slot bar adapt the jig to a wide range of saw models.

Note: Your table saw's miter slot must be a minimum of 2-1/4'' and a maximum of 7'' from the near cutting edge of the blade to be compatible with the Thin-Rip Table Saw Jig.
