Extra thick, dries fast.
I have used the thick gel super glue in the past, but this works much better on wood in my opinion. It,s thicker and dries faster plus you can control the amount dispensed with the bottle rather than a tube.

Best CA Available
I have been making pens for over 20 yrs. Starting with Crazy Glue, I have used almost all brands. I have been using Titebond for about the last 6. Not only is the closure of the bottle superior to other brands, but I am able to use all the product in the bottle, sometimes over almost 2 yrs. I use the Medium for crushed stone inlay in my pens and bowls. I use the Thick for securing the tubes in the pen blanks.

Titebond Thick Viscosity CA Glue
Excellent stuff, accelerator very helpful but works best with the Titebond brand accelerator. New configuration cap that screws down tight is very helpful. The glue seems to last longer on the shelf when stored (tightly capped) in the cool refrigerator door. Seems to work best to (quickly) apply a moderate coat to both surfaces. Can also apply the glue to one piece and accelerator to another, which makes it truly almost instant, but unforgiving, can not be repositioned; used normally, it allows a few seconds to reposition & align pieces. Fills gaps quite well, but I don't think it's quite as strong when used in too wide a gap. Very useful in furniture repairs, especially on pieces that are hard to clamp, such as broken chair rungs and the like.

Miracle glue
This is my go-to stuff for all small projects. Glued one thing in the wrong place and had to use a hammer and chisel to remove the mistake. Unreal power!

good product
A bit pricey, but effective. I have mostly switched to medium and thin except for larger voids. For larger voids you must layer this and use fixative/hardener frequently or the glue won't cure. Also, if the layers are too thick, the glue can over heat with the fixative, and you gat bubbles.

Sticks like barnacles
Before I tackle my main reason for getting the glue my very old guitar, I tried this glue on several types of wood and they all stuck within the time allotted about 10 15 seconds and the following day I had to rip the samples and the glued section held and the wood was the first to go...

I read that I should use thick CA glue to adhere the inner brass tube (for pens) to the drilled-out wood blank.

Great product for use where clamps aren't an option. I've been using it for over 2 years, both thick and thin viscosities. The thin is handy for tight places where you can't get a regular glue brush or glue. The thick doesn't run so you can use it to glue vertical surfaces.

My shop is not heated. Will this product still work if kept at temperatures below freezing?
James W on Jun 14, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Consult with OEM.
I keep all my adhesives indoors, to prevent from freezing.
