can you buy a bearing for 1/4" rabbets?
A shopper on May 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Do you mean 1/4 inch shank or 1/4 wide. You can definitely make a 1/4 inch deep rabbet. Not sure about the 1/4 inch shank but 1/2 shank is recommended. You can make the cut with a straight bit on a router table.
need a rabbit to take 1/8 off 5/8 plywood down to 1/2 ,, and in from edge a 1/2 ?
albert w on Apr 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, this bit will do exactly what you are looking for. I've done that with mine many times.
Does the product description list different bearing sizes than the technical details? Which is correct?
Tripp on Aug 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The overview has the depth of cut. The What's included give the size of each bearing
I'm kinda new to the router game. Can anyone tell me where the washer goes when I assemble this bit? Above the bearing, below the bearing? Is there a "top" or "bottom" to the washer? BTW, I am calling the shank end of the bit "top".
Jeff G on Nov 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The washer goes on the assembly-hex bolt side of the bearing. The concave side of the washer also goes to the hex bolt side of the bearing.
Need to rabbeting board to 3/8 deep and 3/4" wide. Which size bit do I need?
B J on Aug 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I believe that item #28940 will work well for that
Can you buy just the bit? I have the bearing already
